Greetings,

Lately I've been noticing people taking things far too serious. I really haven't entirely made notice of this because I believe it would simply stop on its own. However now I believe it will take some persuasive words to put this to a halt. I'm not one to bring up something that may or may not bring some drama to the case but I thought this would be helpful. Without further ado' I bring to you a discussion about seriousness, and my first ever discussion posted in the category 'wisdom'.

Seriousness can be beneficial in some cases, but virtually being serious isn't something you should always be. Its helpful sometimes but in other ways its just a blockage from the person you're meant to be. Sometimes people say very bad things online that entirely ruin your day. They don't have to honestly. Words can affect someone quite fast and for some it can be quite easy to temper someone. Words are just that, words. Taking them serious or not depends on what is stated.

If the message given is an order then I'd take it seriously. However if the words are hateful comments that continue to backfire don't at all take them to heart. Listen, you can't hear this person, you can't even see them therefore they're nothing to you. Their words should be the same. Mostly you read them and see them then later have a reaction. Your reaction says the person you are honestly. Don't react with force never feed the fire. Simply go on with your evening. The greatest revenge you can have on those words in the future is to succeed on your own, knowing you didn't let those words from a person you don't know get to you. Succeeding will make you feel extraordinary.

Now another thing that is quite bad is when a user is backlashing words at another user. You don't comprehend what their going through. You don't know their life, how they live, and the daily struggles they have to bare to make it through one day. You understand your problems and stories and you should at least comprehend that that person very well could be getting bullied everyday of their lives for simply blemishes. Be a friend to everyone and open your arms to everyone. Don't just act the person you aren't. There's a difference from being strong and being an ass. You understand what you say can have effect to someone, but truthfully if you know it may affect them don't say it.

In conclusion I'd like to say being serious can sometimes be good or bad. Its how you use this skill that will decide how the story will come to you. Negative or positive whatever the case you understand in the long run how you make your actions. Be respectful, honest, and pure. Giving off my words to you is the greatest thing I could possibly do. This gives me closure knowing I Sadie; a rather small person among the vast internet just inspired one person to do better. As always have a beautiful day and stay true to yourself and your peers, thank you.

[Not fully sure if I'm allowed to post in this category, I just believe anyone should be able to share wisdom.]

Sincerely,
-Sadie

I, myself, takes lots of things very seriously. If someone calls me names or talks about me behind my back, and continues to do it because they know it bugs me, I will most likely stand up for myself. I try not to let things get to me, but if it never stops or never ends, I will do anything I can to put it to a halt. I take things seriously because I don't let people walk over me, use me. Sadie, this is your first post in the Wisdom category, correct (obviously, she said it)? Well, this is one of the best Wisdom posts I have ever read in my time in this community. Thank you for making this. :)

Hi Sadie! :D
You already made a post about this but I feel like it was necessary for you to make this again since this hasn't stopped occuring. I very much agree, this is a game of course which means we should not take things too seriously. There are times to be serious, but usually, when we're serious, it's not about something that is a big deal whatsoever. Posts like these are very accurate :)
