Alright, for this title, a lot of you may or may not know what I'm talking about. Let me give a background of what I'm about to talk about. Gems are from the show Steven Universe, which is based on a city named Beach City. The Crystal Gems home Steven because his mom sacrificed herself to have him. The Crystal Gems were Rose's most trusted 'warriors'. Anywho, Gems have many powers and abilities, each unique to their gem and personality. If one gets injured so badly, they'll have to warp back into gem form. Thus, they will regenerate after thinking about a new appearance. The longer you spend time thinking, the more you'll bee able to come out as. When a gem reforms, they look like this.
Basically, this is all the forms previously taken, and it then comes out to the form she wants. This whole story isn't the point. When a gem is injured badly, they have time to think. If I were a gem, live would go slower. Since gems are immortal, they have all their lives to think. When they go back to gem form, they have much time to think about why they've done things and how they'll change themselves for the better. They make sure they use all the time they want to create a new them. As humans, we don't get that time to think.
We have a short life that is, and we cannot always spend it the way we want it. Because time cannot stop for us, and we feel we are the busiest of them all, we wouldn't really have eternal time to think about our lives. We might be able to for a few hours tops, but we have much to do in our lifes. As do the crystal gems aswell, but with eternal time and intervals of thought and nothing, they have much they can think about. This is to their advantage, one we don't have. The lesson I want to teach today is that we may not always be able to plan accordingly. We may not be able to evaluate ourselves before we do everything. We don't have eternal life to think about our mistakes, our future, our desires. We need to use our time as wisely as possible, whatever we might think is worth our time. In my opinion, the DSGHQ is worth my time. Yes, I won't have it forever, but I have lots of time to think about it. Its not my life, but its something I enjoy giving my time to. That experience will last a lifetime, and once I leave,[because someday all of us will] I'll still cherish this place. Make sure what you do and what you think about is truly worth your time. Make the best out of it, and build up memories as you go. Be what you want to be, and your life will be that much more valiant and worthwhile.
