Lets start this post with a definition of bullying.
Bullying - the act of physically or emotionally hurting people
If you're being bullied, tell a trusted adult. They can handle the situation. Sometimes, you think that they'll be making the situation worse, but then you're wrong there. You can also tell a friend and they'll be able to help you too.
Another thing: if a bully was bullying you, and you be rude to them, you're stooping up to their level. But don't be afraid to fight back. If the situation gets worse, tell a teacher and/or principle.
If you bully people, you're being stupid, we're equal and that's a reason why bullying shouldn't exist. Even people with special needs are even as equal as us. We're humans and we make mistakes but don't be afraid to admit them. Remember, you're unique and not even bullies should be able to change you.

When you're being bullied physically, that's the only occasion where telling an adult is necessary. However, when you're being verbally, you know who you need to tell? Yourself. You need to tell yourself to stop being so butthurt over what people have to say to you. Sure, you can tell an adult, but in the end, all the adult can do is stop the bully, but they can't change the fact that you're hurt from the words. Only you can change that. Plus, when you become an adult, some people will still say rude things to you because the world is full of jerks. What adult will you tell then? Because YOU'RE an adult and you'll be expected to know how to handle bullying yourself by then, so you might as well teach yourself how to be strong now.
Words mean absolutely nothing. I've said it before, I'm saying it again and I will say it in every bullying post to come. All they're doing is shooting a noise at you that someone made up. If you think about it, that's all words are. Noises coming out of your mouth that someone made up. And you have the ability to take the pain they're shooting at you and dodge it because happiness because you simply don't care about what anyone has to say is a choice. Don't try to change the bully, that's difficult, change yourself.
