Competitions, what are they?

On a competition, teams or people by themselves competete for something, they show effort and honour to reach their objective.

On a competition, we have to show our best, otherwise we'll be kicked out without another chance.

Is this related to the Game Of Mods?

Yes! I want to teach people how to have a good competition and fun without making anyone else feel sad. Something that has been happening.

Why is this related to the Game Of Mods?

The Game Of Mods is one of the greatests events on the DSGHQ, but this season, people started fighting about teams. Especially Team Kacket and Crime Solvers.

It's pointless to fight over something that in the future will be decided without any comments but skills and effort.

I know many had fun with this, not saying people can't have fun, but this is getting too far.
People have started insulting others just for a game.

Damen said "Have fun it's a game", and people don't understand what he is saying... he said we have to relax, stop fighting and going crazy for a game.

As I said above, it's pointless to fight.

What's wrong with GOM fights?

Nothing much, but what I don't understand is, why do you insult others because of their choices, if people joined a house and dind't join another one, it's their decision! People should respect my choice, and I should respect your choice.

Favouritism and Sponsering

Some Administrators and Moderators have been Sponsering/Helping certain teams, but what's wrong with that?
Well, the truth is, some users "worship" the Staff Members and their opinions, then the users will join a house that a Moderator is sponsering.

Favouritism

Sponsering and favouritism are the same thing (if you are talking about the theory and definitions), Moderators and Administrators shouldn't sponsor teams, they are Judges.

I've experienced this, when I judge a veredict on a trial, I can't say "oh that person is my friend, so he/she is not guilty", or "No, I hate this guy, he/she is guilty", you have to make a wise choice. Remember the symbol of justice:



A blind person, she/he is not taking a side, just wanting justice to everyone.

The problem of this fight

The problem is: Other teams don't have any space nor attention to advertise their teams, example, myself, I gave up on making my own team because of this fight. I don't want to make other people feel this too, please understand.

To people who are causing this fight

I understand, but the competition is tomorrow, and fighting against other teams will not make your team win.

The meaning of a competition

The meaning of a competition is:

Make peoplework together and make themrespect their opponents.
