Greetings Users of the DSGHQ Community
Oh gosh! It has been a while ever since I've wrote a post. I would type posts much more often, if I wasn't busy for school, piano, and such more. Anyways, lets stop talking about me and get to the situation.
As you may have heard, Game of Moderators is coming up! I am sure hyped up about this since I will be judging as well as the other staff members from the team. I understand that many users are really excited that they decided to write a discussion about this.
Indeed, this will be another discussion regarding of Game of Moderators.
Team Work
The basic foundation of Team Work is to gather around with your fellow companions and communicate on how to improve on a skill. The teams that are competing are: Kacket, Crime Solvers, Lecturers, Hippies, and Topaz. The five teams have to compete each other by doing tasks. Furthermore, accomplishing these tasks will require team work. Lets take a step ahead.
T
The letter T stands for "together." As a team, each group will have to work together in order to win the task. Working together would mean cooperating and helping each other. Lets analyze this.
There is always that one moment when we're not feeling too well and we need a helping hand. You either spoke with your parents, friends, neighbors, teachers, or someone who you trust. By telling them how you feel, you have a connection with them. Going further, the person understands how to fix the problem. You work together by finding a solution that works best for you.
"Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is a progress; working together is a success." - Henry Ford
E
The letter E stands for "encouragement." As the Game of Moderators happen along the way, each task will have a winner of the team. Of course, some teams will be quite excited at winning as some might be disappointed of loosing. People, especially those who are competing, needs to understand that not only in games, but in life too, you will have to face your strengths and weakness. Wouldn't it be boring just winning every time? What's the challenge there?
This is where encouragement builds up. If you're part of a team who looses at a task, it's totally okay. As you loose at a task, you get to realize the mistakes that you've faced, and you need to fix the idea before the time comes. By doing that, get your team in the spirit and keep on adventuring the way.
"You have to know the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else." - Albert Einstein
A
The letter A stands for "appreciation." First of all, the five teams, have leaders that created the house. The purpose of a leader is to guide you through the way into becoming a champion. But before we start talking about winning, lets give appreciation to the leaders who have decided for you to join on the team. Without joining a team, it would be quite impossible to compete. Another thing we should appreciate is the members on the team. They're helping each other out during the tasks in order to win. If you're at the finale of the games, you can thank your peers for helping you accomplish all the way to where you are now. Last, but not least, all of us should be appreciated for the Empire for creating this event. Of course, we're always welcome new members to the community, and even more, we're excited to bring new people to the staff team.
Trade your expectation for appreciation and the world changes instantly." - Tony Robbins
M
The letter M stands for "member." Once you join the community, you're automatically part of a member from the DSGHQ Community. Over time, you have the opportunity to earn ranks. Earning a rank requires time and dedication towards the community. With or without a rank, you're still able to help out. As an experience, being a Moderator is quite similar than any other rank or without rank. You don't need a rank in order to help, as long as you participate as a user in the community, the world is in your hands. Not only that, being part of a member in the community let the people support you through your problems and situation. I bet all of us are wishing to accomplish something in this community. When I was an Imperial Knight, I used to tell my students...
"Don't play the role, be the role." - CoffeeCow
This quote analyzes as believing in yourself, instead of pretending someone who you don't want to be. Whatever you do, don't let people overcome you. The only person who can change your decision is yourself.[/b]
"Nothing gives you confidence like being a member of a small, weirdly, specific, hard to find demographic." - Mindy Kaling
In conclusion, I wish all teams good spirits on the Game of Moderators. I hope this post gave you a bit boost of your confidence skills because you deserve it. : )
Thank you for reading this post.
