Wisdom is three things. Knowledge, understanding and action

For example, you are standing in the middle of a road with a bus heading towards you. What do you think will happen if you stay there? You will get hit. So that's knowledge. Then you need to understand that you are in danger and understand that you need to get out of the way. And then action. You need to get out of the way, fast.

That is wisdom.

Interesting perspective on the word wisdom. As I said, I can't define everything about "wisdom" since we all have different perspectives, but from what I can define, I know that wisdom is understanding indeed, but wisdom is not knowledge. Knowledge can turn into wisdom, but wisdom can't turn into knowledge.

Knowledge = being educated by others on factual information such as math and science. We gain knowledge through teachers, studying, etc. Someone is capable of proving our knowledge to be invalid. It's awareness. But knowledge doesn't give us the ability to put a deeper meaning behind our awarness like wisdom does.

Wisdom = We don't learn wisdom through the teachings of other people, like we do knowledge, we gain it from the teachings of experience. Wisdom takes our knowledge and helps us discover a deeper, more important meaning to it. Wisdom takes our knowledge and completes it. Knowledge is the cake, wisdom is the icing. Knowledge is the awareness that we have encountered a grizzly bear, wisdom is knowing how to survive the encounter.

You can have knowledge, be aware, without wisdom, but you can't have wisdom, discover the importance of the awareness, and the true and deeper meaning of the awareness, and apply it to the importance in your life without knowledge.

You are failing a test, you got a 26. Yo parents told you that they'd kick you out if you got any bad grades. What yo do?

Knowledge. You know that if you get a bad grade on a test (which you did) then your parents will kick you out... and worse... TAKE ALL YO MONEY!!11!!1

You realize that if you get kicked out than the money that they took will mean you will have no house or food or worse..... A COMPUTER!1!1! That's understanding.

You put your plan into action by eating the test and going to the school and changing that test grade on your school record to an 89. yo don't get kicked out, and yo get accepted to Harvard with a 2.9 grade point average, a 1040 on your sat, and a 9 on your act, but they took yo in 4 ur mad computer hacking skillz. After that you get a job az a professional youtuber because you realized that you hated school and it was boring to keep changing 20's to 90's..... That's action.
