One of my new years resolutions this year was getting more into mapping and world building.

I figured to start off the new year, I'd experiment with a new little series I'll post to forums every so often.

I don't have a good name for it so I'll just call it "Greater ________"

Every so often I'll pick a country to make bigger by land in terms of similarities in culture or language.

Today, the country is France.

France, Modern Day

Annexed Wallonia, a dominantly french speaking region in southern Belgium.

Annexed Luxembourg, a French/German speaking country, Monaco, a french speaking country, and the french speaking west of Switzerland.

Annexed Aosta Valley (Co-Official Language is French) and Piedmont (Promotes French Language)

Thats it, France is now certainly, greater.

Suggest what countries I should make greater next.

Do a mapping of Sweden during the Great Northern Wars and how the country expanded or shrunk since then
