I'm officially implementing two more rules to keep the forums in order. Some variation of these rules existed in the past, but somehow we lost them in the reintroduction of the community.
1. You may not spam the forums with useless discussions/replies to gain reputation, badges, ranks, etc. This includes quoting back and forth with one or two-word responses that add nothing of value to a discussion. The general rule of thumb is: If you could post it as a mood instead, do that.
2. You may not bump (respond to) discussions older than 6 months.
If you break either of these rules from now on, you will receive a warning the first time and further punishment if you continue.
Thank you!

I'm so glad you addressed this. I remember it being a rule several years ago, and I suppose most of us thought it would just be common courtesy to not spam. Those quoted posts with one word responses do interrupt the flow of good discussions and can make threads unnecessarily long. Thanks for the reminder.

Omg thank you Chelsey! I was tired of seeing years old discussions continuously being bumped up.
