It's 2019 and I'm making a moderator application. For this forum. Again.

I'm 16, which seems odd as I said I was 15 back in 2014. I'm applying because even after almost 6 years I'm still passionate about this community and genuinely want some sort of position here. I always just... wanted the rank of forum moderator? Maybe because I was addicted to this in middle school before I discovered social media.

For experience, I'm not too sure what to say. To start, I've been on here since the dawn of time and was actually super happy to see this forum get revived. I can't really remember ranks I've had in the past but these are the ones I can think of:

- News Reporter: I was one in 2014. No idea how this relates to moderation experience but might as well add it.
- Master: I'm a Master! I've been one forever.
- Detective: I was a detective on OldCP in 2014 or 2015 but got demoted for a reason I can't remember. Maybe cursing in abbreviation.
- Xat Moderator: I was a mod on the DSGHQ xat like 3 years ago. I guess this is a direct relation to moderation skills, even though it was on xat.

I kind of just screwed around on here before but I'm at a point where I've obviously matured. My main motive for applying, besides fulfilling my 12-year-old fantasy, is that I'd like to give back to the community. This site was honestly such a huge part of my childhood, and oddly enough it sort of shaped me into who I am today. Don't know if that's necessarily good or bad, but I appreciate it nonetheless. I want to help out and even though years have passed it would still be amusing to have a position of authority on here. Especially the one I have always wanted.

I've made dozens of more formal applications on here and was obsessed with the rules (until I decided to act edgy in 2015-16 to join the clique or whatever) so I don't see a concern with me not understanding what to do.

Anyways, let me know! I don't think public applications have ever worked but its worth a try. I guess someone could personally contact me if they'd be interested in promoting me?

To recap, I just... genuinely want this. I've learned so much on here and I want to be around for the new generation of young middle schoolers who say that they're 17.

Honestly, I stand for this application.

Frozo, you're obviously more than qualified. We all have bumps in our past, that is what makes you knowledgable. Best of luck to you, I truly hope to see your on the DSGHQ Forum staff team someday. Nice application.
