Hello everyone! I believe we should bring back the Presidential Elections on OldCP. It was great to have another administrator on the game, and it has been a while since Orbay kind of ruined the Presidency loool. Anyways, we can tweak the President's powers a bit, and the President could bring new features to the game that will not only positively affect users but can affect the south as well. For example, they could bring a reasonable tax system to the users' liking. They could bring new ways to get gold, new ways to spend gold, new features for different ranks, new rank ideas, and more. President was supposed to be somewhat equivalent to Emperor or Empress, and the current Empress is quite inactive. Raindrop could stay with an active President. I don't know the cons of this idea, why wouldn't you want someone who can make up for Raindrop's inactivity and help the game improve?

The game is very active so we will be able to find many candidates and many voters at this time. We won't be able to do this after quarantine unless, hopefully, everyone who has come back stays and can be somewhat active enough. New parties, many people to go to rallies and listen, and it'll make OldCP extremely active. The only reason this was removed was because Orbay did something that made the rank broken, however, we learn from mistakes and all we need is to tweak the President's powers.

the president system was really nice and i really enjoyed it while it was around. i'd love to see this return if possible

Not going to lie, I wouldn’t mind seeing it come back. It was actually quite interesting, and it was great for user-involvement.

I don't think I was here for the presidency, but it seems cool.

The presidency was a really interesting concept in the game, and it would be really cool to see it revisited, even if it needs to be tweaked a little. It was really good for user engagement, too.

I brought it back in iOldCP when it was up it worked a little but they should bring it back to OldCP

I'd be fine with this.

Although I slightly agree, there needs to be some other changes so that it doesn't get messed up again.

1) Don't involve crimezone into it. That's when the presidency really started falling off, because elections were getting rigged and the president was just a puppetmaster. I don't know why that was allowed because it ruined a good feature.

2) Let the users choose the Supreme Judge and Judges. If you want a democracy it has to be a full democracy.

3) The president's implementations should actually be added. If it isn't possible for that to happen efficiently and quickly, there really isn't a point in having a president.

Yeah, CZ absolutely should have no part in it. Though at this point, I'm not sure if that's possible anymore... They seem to stick their fingers into everything.

President should act as the bridge between the users and the Emperor, like Hashir said, as long as crimezone doesn't cause it to rig elections then I'm sure it'll serve its purpose.

nah, i say rig the elections. if we're going to make a democracy in a game based in medieval times we should at least bring the accuracy of a corrupt and rigged system to it.
