On August 4th, Head Moderator Jaden, who took the place of Swirlie back in June, resigned from his position as Moderator. I had a chance to speak with him and he had this to say:
I did everything I needed to do as Head Moderator and there was nothing else for me to do. The staff is in the right direction and their questions have been answered. I wanted to put my fighting skills into play by becoming an Imperial Knight and defending the South + helping in war. Head Moderator was very fun at first but I ran out of ideas and there was no point of me staying as Head Moderator.
Now the question on everyone’s minds is who will become the new Head Moderator? I guess we’ll see soon.
On August 8th at 5 PM EST / 10 PM UK, there will be a LIVE rap battle on the Jack Banana Dev YouTube channel. The winner will get the Rap God title on OldCP and Rap God badge on Forums. The winner will be voted by the people. Join this discord server to compete.
Snaildom King Regent Terry and Baffed will be hosting a fun event on Snaildom on August 6th at 6 PM EST / 11 PM UK. It will be similar to the OldCP quests that Baffed hosts. Read this discussion for more information!
Health Update for OldCP
- Health is not reset when you relogin.
- If online, health regenerates by 1 point per 30 seconds. (An extra 30 seconds is added to the next regen increment if you are hit)
- If offline, health regenerates by 1% per 30 seconds.
Lady of the Bank Layla will be hosting a Richest Penguins Finest Dinner on August 7th @ 5 PM EST / 10 PM UK. The entry fee will be 50,000 gold, which will be put towards the Imperial Bank. Dress code is dresses for the females, bowties, monocles, and canes for the men. It will be hosted at Drake Hall and the celebrity cook will be Gordon Ramsay. Afterward, you will be taxed 5% or 10% depending on what you had. Hope to see everyone there in their finest clothes!
Rouge and Harry have declared war on Das once again.
Orbay has declared war on the North, too.
