Today Tulkas spoke with Kutya. He said that the ring was taking him over and that he wished to return to his old self, rather than continue on as being a greedy and power thirsty being. He asked Kutya to take the ring for him because he could not bare having it anymore.
He took it to the cove to clean it one final time before giving it to Kutya but then it took him over again! He pulled his mighty axe and threatened those who came near him. Wilf attacked Tulkas in a foolish move but he did little harm to the great warlord.
When Tulkas came to his senses once again, he spoke about how it is obvious that the ring is taking him over. He did not wish to live like this anymore. He said he NEEDED to get rid of the ring and that he thought that Kutya was the right person to give it to as she was named to be a ringbearer by Nook. As he was about to give it to Kutya, he was convinced to do otherwise. It has been said that very few can handle the power of The One Ring and Kutya is not one of them, it would consume her as well if she were to hold it.
Tulkas was convinced to take it to Das and throw it in the lava there to destroy it, which would fulfill the prophecy of how the ring must be destroyed in the fires of Das where it was forged. Of course though, the dracs attempted to kill Tulkas for the ring but they were not successful. It was there, on Das that Tulkas became fully consumed by the ring. Sadly, Tulkas was not strong enough to possess the ring and fulfill his misson of destroying it. Tulkas turned black and shouted "ASH NAZG" and said that he serves Pythas now.
Then Tulkas moved to Sanctum and said that he wished to challenge Pythas. At first, he tried to get the Dracs to kill Pythas for him but they would not do it as they knew that Pythas could easily slay them all with one swing of his blade. So Tulkas had to fight the dark lord himself.
The battle did not last long. Tulkas stood no chance against the mighty blade of Pythas. Pythas also spared us all from Trump in this attack. So now Pythas possesses The One Ring, which he has searched for for a very long time. Its power is greatest in his hands.

What will Pythas do now that he has the One Ring? No one knows, but we can all expect things to get really crazy as he is now more powerful than he has been in a long long time.
