The staff brought Killer to Silence (the Black Doctor), hoping that he could revive him so that he could tell them who the killer was. Silence ordered everyone out of the room so he could try to heal Killer, when they were allowed back in he was set up with a blood transfusion. Yet still things were not looking up for the wounded staff member.

While they were waiting for Killer to meet his fate, the staff members looked over the part of the wizard staff that Killer had been speared with. It was strange, under the blood it looked as though the staff had been charred slightly where it had been broken. Of course, Wizard staffs are powerful objects, the staff could have released some intense heat energy upon is destruction.

While the staff looked over the staff, Killer died. Silence seemed to be surprised at the man's death but also didn't appear to care too much either. He left saying he had more important patients to tend to anyway. Dice looked at one of the empty bottles from the blood transfusion, it turned out that Killer had been given a transfusion of Balrog blood! Who would ever want get near enough one of those beasts to draw its blood?

With another staff member done for, there was still the matter of there being an open room with no occupants. While everyone was worrying about Killer, Rouge was wasting no time. She had moved into the room that had previously been shared by Accal and Wilf. Zes's noobing was her primary complaint and reason for moving into the vacant room.

Later that afternoon, Damen was seen having a rather strange conversation with The Witch King. It turned out that Damen had touched his helmet and Amir was rather unhappy about it. Amir threatened to take Damen to court to sue him for all his rice cakes. Damen, of course, did not want to part with his health food, those rice cakes were worth more to him than his own son and of course there really weren't any food options in Baraddur that didn't involve meat or other animal products. Amir managed to bargain, or more like threaten, Damen into giving him the Empire's credit card so that he could take his wife on a trip to Bermuda. And so that evening, Amir and Loki left Baraddur and the awful staff trip behind.
