I have been listening to the winds and the trees and the leaves in a forest. From them I have heard of 13 prophecies of whats to come.
Far away in a forest, the leaves in the trees are rustling. They whisper with the wind about the whereabouts of a long lost child. "Where is she?" "What has happened to her?" "She has been spotted there but she has long since left." Will they be able to locate the long lost child? They worry endlessly. If they do not locate this child soon, it may be too late to do any good. The trees grow restless with the slow searching of the wind.
In the forest where the trees with the leaves whisper with the wind, the wind has also become bitter. The wind does all the searching and the trees do nothing but talk and chatter. When the wind is displeased with the inaction of the forest, it blows a bitter snow onto the trees. But the snow was not placed there by the wind. It was placed there by another being. Was it intentional? No, it was not! The land has been forgotten by this lady as she is relatively new to her job. Soon she will stop the bitter wind from blowing snow on the trees.
Far from the forest lives a boy. He chisels away trying to make his own mark on the world. But the material he uses grows displeased with his works as they could be something much greater under the skilled hands of a master craftsman. This boy must seek help from someone more skilled and knowledgeable so that he can become a master craftsman too or else the rocks will crumble and slide and he will be lost in a great avalanche.
By the will of greater powers, a father has been separated from his son. Why? The greater powers desire for this man to search his soul and find who he truly is. Only after the father is sure in his decision will the son be reunited with him.
Off in a dark corner of the world, a great being is hiding and plotting its return. With it will come revenge, it has been holding a great malice for some time. Soon it will mercilessly unleash its full malice on all those who betrayed it, whether they be good or evil. Only those who did not stand against it will come out unscathed.
He is a weaver of dreams, or perhaps now the dreams are weaving him? He is becoming lost and entangled in his own creations. Only one can save him, but who is it?
She will come to untangle the weaver of dreams from the web that he has weaved and discover the world to be in worse shape than what she had seen from the distant land of Aman. She will be angered at first but then she will find desire to heal all those in Arda. She will first try to heal the hurts of the dark ones, and being rejected by many she will begin to curse those who attempt to harm her.
Another will appear unexpectedly. Will they like the way that they have found the world to be or will they be saddened by it and fall into depression? They will fall into depression but be brought out of it by the kindness of another person. They will then unite with this person but will it be for good or for evil?
A man who lurks in the shadows will soon come out, bringing a great evil with him. This evil is an old evil, and it will come in another form. This form may be one that is expected or it may be something completely new that takes Arda by surprise.
A man of darkness, he angers the person who has given him his status. The person become jealous and attempts to overthrow the man for their own gain. The two will fight, but only one can win. One will realize that he does not need the other and goes his own way. This one will find prosperity. The other, self loathing.
A king sits high above the rest in his land and he feels safe and secure. His kingdom is prospering. But with this prosperity comes complacency. If he remains this way, a great darkness will arise in his kingdom and slowly swallow everything up, including the king. But the king will not realize it until too late as he will become engulfed in it.
A master of time, and yet time is running short for him. What can he do? One cannot turn back time without destroying some aspect of the present. He will lose himself if he attempts to do this. It is ill advised to mess about with the delicate fabrics of time. Only Vaire herself was skilled enough to rip out threads and weave new ones in on old tapestries.
A married couple, yet they do not see each other. Is one of them blind? Nay, they are both blind! One is blinded by a great glimmering crystal that glows in the darkness of caves. The other, by their own foolish denial of what they want to be (evil). To be reunited the latter must surrender to themself and embrace the inner darkness.
