The
Stolen Child
Some time ago, probably about 15 years, a woman of fire gave birth to a son. She loved him very much but there was one problem with the boy. The boy was very small! He was not born prematurely, he was just small as he secretly had dragon genes and dragons are born small. So small that one day, the woman of fire misplaced her son! She searched everywhere for him but could find no clues as to where her son was. The woman of fire grieved for her son for much time, blaming herself for his disappearance. One day as she was grieving in the forest she saw leaves falling. As the leaves swirled about her, she saw a vision. It was of her son! She saw that he was alive but he was in a strange place that she did not recognize. She searched far and wide for him but still could not find him.
It turned out that her son had been kidnapped by his own father. But the father neither cared for the boy nor had the financial means to care for him or even for himself. As he was a vagabond, he sold his son to a small family living on Cobia, who gave the boy the name of Jevil. The Cobian family cared greatly for Jevil but he had a very hard life as he had to tend to the fields while the other children from richer families got to attend royal balls that were hosted by the Cobos themselves.
Jevil got tired of watching as other kids got to attend royal balls while he had to stay home and tend to the fields so he stole some clothes from one of the richer families and got ready for the ball. When he entered the ballroom everyone stared at him as he looked rather suave and they had no idea who he was. All the princes noticed Jevil, as did the king. But more importantly, Jevil caught the eye of Angel Cobo's favorite girlfriend. At this time Angel had many girlfriends and no wives as he was not old enough to be married.
Jevil noticed that Angel's girlfriend was staring at him so he asked her to dance and she accepted. Jevil stole Angel's girlfriend away from him and she fell in love with him. Angel plotted revenge and hired hit men to kill Jevil. Jevil ended up having to flee from Cobia to the South. Jevil's adoptive parents grew depressed as they thought that Jevil had in fact been killed by the hit man. Angel's ex-girlfriend ended up marrying Angel but she never forgot about Jevil.
Eventually the woman of fire was reunited with her son and he found his true name was Adam.
