Hi everyone i have a idea for forums. When someone makes a post and sometimes it creates drama or something else and the person who made it have to tell a moderator,But i was wondering what if we can Lock our own post. And this should only be for members and higher ranks.I know this is a small post but i have nothing else to say.Like this if you think its a good idea and comment what you think.ENJOY YOUR DAY

EDIT:Some people thought i meant lock the post that they made in other people's discussions,But i also meant lock YOUR discussions.

Great idea but you probably don't want this advantage for EVERYONE. Maybe just for Member and higher or Master and higher?

Maybe just Master and higher it could be Member+ because Rookies couldn't handle it.

I'm confused. By locking you're posts, do you mean lock the post you made discussions? Or do you mean like only you can view the post?

Exactly. Rookies would be considered new and who knows. They might accidently think the lock button is something else and lock a post mistakenly.

I like the idea of Master+ XD It could be secret for high ranks, I'm joking. Your right, rookies can't handle that and they are usually new.

Great Idea, Sunset! Sophie is right. Rookies can't handle this.

I agree. Maybe only for Members+ because Rookies are new, and maybe we shouldn't say "They can't handle it" Because they may be smart, you know? But anyway, great idea +1

Good idea!I understand that some of us rookies aren't ready to handle anything at all,but maybe you should edit the posts you just made. Some people might take offence by it.Some of us are smarter then you think.

With the crazy amount of moderators available for service, I don't think that this is a good suggestion. Moderators will have better judgement.

Hmm...I think this should be for Masters. Why? Not everyone can handle this power, there is more than 20 members!
And, our mods are more active these days, so I don't think it is necessary. Good thought though.

It's a nice idea, but its unnecessary. If a user wishes for his or her thread to be locked, they can simply contact a moderator. Allowing users to lock their own threads would cause more problems than just contacting a staff member. Again, nice idea, but I can see it being abused, even by masters in some cases.
