Right now, being an EVIL SCARY CRIMINAL on P3D is pretty tedious:
You have to deal with
- Obscurely being AOS or KOS (nobody has the free time to update newsboard in the discord 24/7, sometimes people end up forgetting you're AOS or KOS on an island)
- Not having much of a challenge, people will end up trying to arrest you most of the time, the epic villain aspect of fighting people gets taken away because it's easier to get close and type /arrest
- etc..
The solution to these problems would be a bounty system. The way this works is that based on how many rules you break on an island, you get a bounty on your head ingame.
To check the bounty list ingame, you could just type /bounty and all the wanted people would show up on a list, along with their actual bounty next to their name, and which islands they are wanted on.
Knights (or anyone with arrest perms) could get a higher reward for arresting a bountied person, and ordinary users could get around half the bounty if they were to kill that person where they were wanted on.
20-30% of the bounty should be deducted from the criminal's bank account should they be arrested (60% should be paid if they die so the "easy way out" doesnt become an option)
If someone doesnt have the money to pay for their bounty in the bank, they will face 2 more hours of jailtime and have their bank be in negative/debt
This could also reduce corruption in the knight system (you could let that guy go because you're chill but you're missing out on that sweet payday!)
Crime would also be reduced because previously all you did was rot in jail, but now you rot in jail (or void) with the knowledge you lost your shillings. It creates more of a penalty to randomly slaughtering innocents (something I know a lot of you are tired of!)
And this would make the opportunity for more COMBAT-RELATED JOBS to pop up that would be outside the tryhardiness realm of CZ.
To prevent people from exploiting this feature, you shouldn't get paid if you kill/arrest someone with the same IP as you. Gold exploit potential destroyed.

I have to resort to the cannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with grape shot, "Tally ho lads" the grape shot shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms. Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He Bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since triangular bayonet wounds are impossible to stitch up. Just as the founding fathers intended.

I like this but when OP evil people begin to kill innocent users who are just trying to play the game (which is often), this system isn't helpful at all. If you kill 10 innocent users, there are 10 users who have to wait 4 hours in the void and who might've lost some items when killed. Then when you are finally killed by someone more OP than you, you have to wait only 4 hours and lose gold. This would be a good idea if the void wait wasn't so long.

I always thought that the arrest system was kinda crap because you could be anywhere in the room and someone can type /arrest, thats why when I was EH/Emp I wanted to kill then arrest to sort of "incapacitate" someone, feels more realistic but everyone got pissy at me for trying that lol
