This is likely the last wisdom I will ever post here.
LIFE IS NOT LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATES.
There is no key that tells you what each option is and on top of that, most of the options SUCK anyway. All you can do is make the best of what you've got while you have it because at the end of the day chocolate is chocolate and life is life. It can be worse, you could find one of those nasty ones with the orange stuff in it. If you have the one with the orange stuff, I wish you the best of luck.

Currently stuck with a box filled only with the orange-creme filled chocolates, but I know one day I will turn it to a box of strawberry-creme filled chocolates!!
That is life, in the end we control which box we are holding.

This post makes no sense.
The phrase "Life is like a box of chocolates" is followed up by the prompt "You never know what you're gonna get."
The metaphor of the phrase is saying that life has multiple choices with unknown outcomes, similar to how a box of mixed chocolates is hard to distinguish and you don't know what kind you may be choosing.
Imo to say "Life isn't like a box of chocolates, because you have to make the best of what you have on uneducated choices.." is just ignoring the actual meaning of the phrase in favor of taking it at face value.
This isn't deep this is a cognitive deficiency.
