This discussion is mainly a suggestion that I stress on others and for the staff to immediately put up as a rule to the chat.
Religion seems to be a touchy subject in real life and even more in the forums. I know Christmas is soon to come and it's a largely celebrated holiday for many people internationally, but there is one thing that people seem to forget: there are other religions out there.
I could go on and educate you about the thousands of religions that exist, but that's not what this is about. The point I want to make is that religion is controlling too much of the forums, especially at this time of year. After bullying and suicide, religion seems to be the next "drama" there is in the forums.
A user on the forums, Elsa, has been targeted by a handful of users because of her refusal to pray for a certain circumstance since her viewpoint of her religion signified that praying was a time when a person is in a physical problem regarding serious matters, not for those who are being disliked by two or three people. She later decided to quit the community for this unresolved dilemma. People usually base religion off of Judaism, Islam, Christianity, and so on when they forget the different customs that are associated in each one; this means two people can be Christian, but one may go to church and pray for every opportunity they can get while the other stays home on Sundays and pray only when they feel need be.
My suggestion would be to stop sharing religious ideas altogether in the games and the forums. It should be a rule where religion should not be discussed so openly. I know there is freedom of religion in the US, but because of the example of Elsa, people are being hypocritical and one-sided for believing that their religion is the superior and ultimate one while all other ideas are false and unsystematic.
If this will not be put into a rule, then I would suggest players to at least tread lightly on the topic of religion. Not everyone has the same religion as you and not everyone shares the same traditions as you do, even if their religion is the same.
Please see clearly that I am not against religion. I do accept the Christian faith and I do celebrate Christmas, but I don't go around disliking any comment that refuses to do what I do for my religion. Also do not feel that I am pointing any fingers; this message is to all users. Unless someone directly insults your religion, do not feel that they are opposing you in anyway. If someone does insult your religion, report it to a Staff Member immediately.
Hope you don't take this topic the wrong way.
Thanks to Elsa, who allowed me to use her discussion for an example. For the complete discussion, see http://forums.clubpenguin.pro/view/7525-Stop this!!/ .
That's all.

Users don't tell other people to do what you were taught to do if they weren't taught to do it too. You may share you belief but don't expect it to be with others also.
