Hello there ladies and gentlemen! I guess I'll be participating in this upcoming mod competition, but this time I'll be leading the very team I founded- youcast.
I will be restricting the size and amount of people in this team to those accepted onto the team. This is simply because in previous competitions in which I led youcast, there were many many people who happened to join when we begun to excel. It's been known as nerds, but originally was to be called youcast, so feel free to call it which ever, it doesn't really matter to me.
Due to troubles in previous competitions, I will be outlining the etiquette for the team. This should be followed by any member of youcast and you should be aware of these rules before joining the team.
ETIQUETTE/RULES
Respect: I expect the members of Youcast/nerds to be able to respect the other teams as well as each other. In no means should I see bashing on other teams.
Teamwork: Because this is a team competition and many of the tasks and challenges revolve around being a team, I should see a well use of teamwork. That means being able to listen to others and their ideas, as well as listen to the leader who will help execute these ideas. From what I have learned, working together and actually listening will always produce the best results.
Language and Grammar: Clean language and proper grammar always reflects a positive image on a team. Personally, I would like to see minimal "text language" and at NO point should inappropriate words be used. This rule should especially be followed when we are presenting.
Respect towards officials: Moderator competitions usually use moderators and admins as judges of the tasks. Usually, moderators and admins will drop in at any time, and I believe they'll appreciate proper behavior from the team. This means that at no point should we crowd them, cause I know they don't like eating at the pizza shop with 20million flippers in their face.
Participate: This team is a limited size, meaning it is necessary that everyone who signs up, shows up. I can't afford to have half of the team simply not show up. So please make sure that you'll be able to show up to the events before joining. If for some reason you cannot make it, please notify me and advance.
These are simply the main points. The reason as to why I stated them here is to help organization in the team and let you guys know what (from my experience) will make a strong team.
SIGNUPS
As I stated earlier, this team will be restricted to only a few people. I don't have a set number, but I plan to have no more than 20. To signup, simply reply to this thread with information about why you wish to join. I may also invite some users via in-game to the team. I don't want to make this team exclusive, but it's hard to keep up with a team when so many users are joining.
The list of users will be posted later.

Never mind I shall be joining Freehawks. Very sorry for all of the confusion. I didn't know Freehawks were doing the Oldcp Mod Competition. Anyways, good luck to everyone!

I would like to join because I have proper grammar, I really don't use text slang....I'm pretty respectful, I'm good with Teamwork, listening and responding politely to ideas, and whatnot, and I'm a nerd. Oh, Do you have to be a nerd to join?
Are you reading my signature?

Cmon, team nerds needs some more people. Keep in mind i'll be inviting several users as well.
Also, pieguy and tacos, you are both accepted into the team. I'll contact you for further information.
edit: i'll no longer do signups, it's hard to find the people who wish to be apart of the team through a forum post, I'll be asking people in-game and feel free to ask me in-game.
