Earlier today I was joking with my friend, Luckie about a command that would automatically add *bark*, *woof*, *wags tail* ect.. to the end of everything you say. This sparked a bigger and better idea! Guard Dogs.

A Guard Dog's job would be to not only protect users of OldCP, but to protect knights too. If a knight was fighting a dangerous user, the guard dog would have to be by their side to help out. I think I have some really good ideas of commands that guard dogs could use.



Commands

/bark - Guard dogs have very loud barks so they can warn people of intruders. If a guard dog used the /bark command, a message would pop up on everyone's screen that would say something along the lines of "There is a suspicious/dangerous user on the loose. Please evacuate to /office"

/bite username - I have two ideas for what this could be used for.
1. If a guard dog bites a user a certain number of times, the user will die.
2. It could be used as a warning to bad users. Say if someone was snowball spamming, a guard dog could say "/bite username reason" and a message would pop up on their screen saying something along the lines of "You have been bitten by a guard dog because _reason_, if you continue to do this you will be banned/arrested"

/sniff username - If a guard dog sees a suspicious character, they can sniff the user to see if they have any weapons that they aren't supposed to have, such as a gun.

/take username - This command would allow the Guard Dog to take the user's weapon if they are misusing it. However, I think it shouldn't have a 100% chance of working. If the dog trains a lot, there will be a higher chance of this command succeeding.

/block username - This command would stop the user from being able to move around so quickly, they would get stuck. Training will also help improve the accuracy and effectiveness. It could also cause the user to not be able to walk in a certain area, as if they are 'scared' to go near the dog.

/???? username - I haven't thought of a command for this yet. I just know that this command would do something similar to banning or arresting a user. I think this command could be optional, but I also think that it would be necessary as OldCP needs some more moderation. Especially at night.



To obtain the rank a user would have to have all of the typical qualities, trustworthy, honest, kind, helpful, brave, active, loyal, ect... but they should also need to be trained and tested, just like regular guard dogs.

Please tell me what you think of this idea or, if you want, add any additional ideas that you have related to this! I'm actually very fond of Guard Dogs being a rank on OldCP and I really hope Damen considers adding something like this to the site. (This is totally not because I want to be titled as a dog on OldCP...)
