How to Wear Two Items at Once
•
28th June 2015, 12:48 PM
Greetings! Many of you probably know how to wear two of the same body area items at once. But I have seen a lot of users asking how to do it. Here's a guide:
First, find the code of the item you want to put on over. To do this, click the question mark button at the lower right corner of your screen. Then, click better clothes. From there, search up any item you want.
For example, if you want to wear a crown, search up crown. Click which one you would like. Then, your penguin will say something such as /newcp head 410 (that is the code for the queens crown).
Remember that code! You will need it soon.
Then, find the other head item you would like and put it on. The other head item you just put on will be removed, but don't worry about that.
In order to put two items on at once, you need a body area where you dont have an item on. If you're not wearing anything on your hands, then we can use that body part. It works for every body part except the one you are trying to double.
The code for the crown was /newcp head 410. Instead of /newcp HEAD, change it to /newcp HAND 410 and say it. Again it doesn't have to be your hands, you could say /newcp neck 410, etc.
There, you should have two items on at once!
I hope this helped some of you and that it was easy to follow

Applying to be a mod
•
26th June 2015, 07:16 PM
Hello!
Although I'm not very experienced, I do know that you have to have some experience on forums too. Also, many people want to become moderator! You should try to gain more rep on forums, and maybe make a application when you think you're ready. Try to stand out from everyone else who wants to become a moderator. Best of luck to you in the future!

Moderator Application :)
•
26th June 2015, 02:22 PM
Hello! My name is SharkBait. For the five months I have been playing club penguin, I have learned a lot. I would like to take the time and apply for moderator! Helping the DSGHQ community is something I would love to do. Please take the time and read this
Experience
Although I joined forums on the 28th of May, I have been playing for a lot longer. Since I am also very active, I have seen moderators doing their job. Thus I have learned from them! If there is ever a problem and a user reports it, I usually like to follow to where the problem is. There I can see how the moderator handles the issue, and if the punishment is severe or just a talk. I also help a lot! If there is ever a problem that I believe can be solved without the help of a moderator, I usually try to step in and help. If it can't be resolved, I would go and find a moderator. Although I don't have a lot of rep on forums, I have learned the website well. Plus, at least I have "good" rep
Behavior/Maturity
I would say I am very mature. In real life, I grew up without a mother. And my father was usually at work. That's really personal, I know. Because of this situation, I had to do a lot of things for myself. I became very independent. I also had to grow up quickly, because I couldn't keep acting like a kid. This made me really mature at a young age. Seven years after the incident happened, I am 13 and I would say I'm still very independent. Although this was hard, it did shape me to be the person I am today. My friends usually say I act like an adult. I don't know if its a good thing. If moderator was given to me, I would take the job seriously. And if I couldn't, I would quit. But I will take it seriously if I do get it.
Grammar/Spelling
By reading my application so far, I hope you can see that I do try to have good grammar and spelling. I never use abbreviations that many may use, such as "u" for "you". That is just one out of many examples. I try to have good grammar and spelling because I want to relay information in a way so people can understand me!
Moderator Job
Being a moderator means you help people. I love to help people. I know most will say that, but I really do. In real life, I enjoy volunteering in the community to help others. Even though this is a virtual game, people still need help. I'll help with simple tasks, such as locating a person, or a hard task, such as resolving an argument. These are just two examples of how I could help. I would love to be the person that others can look up to. Personally, I think thats one of the best things about being a moderator. The fact that if someone needs help they usually go to a moderator makes me excited. Moderator or not, I believe I am nice to all users.
Activity
I am very active. I usually sit in the town. If im not in the town, I like to stay in popular rooms. I am on every day of the week except Wednesdays. I am onine for about ten hours. Saying that makes me reaize how dedicated I am to this game. Wow haha.
Reasons Why I Want Moderator
Well, I want moderator for a few reasons. First of all, as I've stated before, I love helping others. I aspire to do that as a job when I'm older! It's something I geninuely love to do, which is why I would be good for the job. I would help every user, even if its a small issue. Second, I want to be someone who people can look up to. I think it would just be amazing for people to look up to me. Personally, I believe that is an honor. Third, I have been playing this game for a long time, and I think it woud be awesome if I could get a higher rank. I know, everything isn't about a rank. And sometimes, it's really not important. But I would love to have it.
In conclusion, I think I am fit for the job! I hope you can agree too. And I hope you took the time to read this! Thank you for your time if you read this I hope I get moderator!
My CP username is SharkBait.
Thanks again!

WHAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING
•
2nd June 2015, 03:59 PM
Rae was demoted for leaking PW identities, but is now a Moth Priest. Chex won the moderator competition. FluffyBacon came in second, and got moderator aswell (but not from the competition) Chelsey was crowned empress of the DSGHQ. The Mountain killed agentadawg. Matthew and Freddo are now knights. DSC won WCI. Faygo and music are also moderators. May23 was demoted for being offline for too long, then she made a very long, hateful post about the DSGHQ. Cheep and CyberWolf are married. Sofie and Damen were getting married, but Damen couldn't marry her. Sofie quit the DSGHQ.
Welcome back!

How to Help New Users
•
2nd June 2015, 03:43 PM
Hello everyone! I'm sure theres many of you who have been on CP for a long time, and you may see a lot of new users come in. We want the community to be as friendly as possible. I decided to make this post to make sure that happens, and suggestions to what you can do! For purposes of this post, I am using my name, SharkBait, as an example lol.
Greet the new user, and introduce yourself, so they can have a friend!
You can say something like, "Welcome to the community!" "My name is SharkBait. I would love to help you get started."
Tell them about the whole "clothes system."
Make sure to tell them you dont need coins to buy clothes. Tell them, "To get all clothes in your inventory, type in /addall" Some users are a bit suspicious to listen and say /addall, so it would be a good decision to tell them what it is beforehand.
Tell them how to get extra clothes!
Obviously, many users dont just stick to the clothes we have when we say /addall. Tell them about the better clothes button. But make sure you tell them to listen to everything before they start pressing stuff because then they wont see how to do it.
- In the lower right hand corner of the screen, press the button with a question mark on it.
- Press the button that says better clothes.
- Search up any item you want, and click on it to wear it!
Give them a few popular commands, and tell them what they are used for.
/save [outfit name] to save an outfit.
/outfit [outfit name] to wear an outfit.
/popular to be transported to the most popular room.
/activity to see where people are.
But remember, if you see someone already helping, don't try to step in. A lot of people do that, especially because moderators are watching. You're helping them because you really want to, not because you want to get a higher rank. Hope this is useful.

i want to be a moderator
•
1st June 2015, 05:50 PM
Hello! I'll tell you what I know about being a moderator. I know people have said this before, but asking for moderator lowers your chances. It's actually against the rules to bug a moderator to become a higher rank. Moderators have to have: expirence on forums and CP, trustworthy, loyal, ACTIVE, caring, and kind. It takes some months to become a moderator. It's not easy, especially because everyone wants to be a moderator. I hope this helped a little bit. Good luck!
