Respect is a way of treating or thinking about something or someone. If you respect your teacher, you admire her and treat her well.
People respect others who are impressive for any reason, such as being in authority like a teacher or cop or being older like a grandparent. You show respect by being polite and kind. For a lot of people, taking your hat off is a show of respect. When people are insulted or treated badly, they feel they haven't been treated with respect. You can respect things as well as people.

Honesty, I think chibi is just a more interesting, unique, cartoon-ish version of anime. There are many anime cartoons but it seems like almost every single one has a very similar art style because its anime. Chibi is very different than anime because there are many different art styles when it comes to chibi.

Many things that are chibi art

When someone cries, their eye or eyes look like they're melting sort of. Used in shows like TAWOG.

When they're embarrassed, the top of their face is purple or there are red/pink scribbles underneath their eyes. This is actually used in normal cartoons too.

They'll still have their eyes open when they're closed. There will be a line making it look like they wear glasses kinda. Used in a lot of cartoons.

They might make their body a bit unusual to fit the style or the feel of the character.
Example
In the photo of their default designs, they look very normal and similar. In this photo, they look interesting and different.



Many more things but I can't explain them all.

Chibi is truly my favorite anime art style and the only one I like.
