in all honesty, this is the first time in a while that i'm doing one of these. the last time i did this, the list wasn't very long, but today, oh boy you're in for a ride.

to start things off, the people who made me grin once or twice this year:

- Naii ~ That tap dance thing was hilarious

- Rainberry ~ The efforts you made to break me out of my shell, they worked. (I don't know if she uses the forums, but i hope to heck someone tells her that i gave her a shoutout)

- Fable ~ The whole scene of talking through a cat today was pretty funny.

while that half of the spectrum for this post is short, there's a lot of people who made my day many times this year:

- Team ~ Awesome with a capital A, no matter where it is in a sentence. Probably the coolest person on this post, let's be honest here. I haven't had many memories with Team, but there's always something that happened yesterday. Watching Team abuse the /sendout command on Seb was hilarious, and some people call her the worst mod, but I say best mod. Because even if it's abusing a command, it's usually funny when the person keeps coming back.

- Pablo ~ Pablegend the Leafeon. The whole "A wild Pablo appeared!" thing never gets old, and you're more of a help to me than you might think. You've brightened up my year a lot, simply by coming online.

- Jenna ~ An amazing person who deserves one of the higher spots on my shoutouts list. Jenna, even if we had a shaky start on Discord when I messaged you that one day, you've quickly made a spot in my heart. You're someone who I hope to still be friends with in the years to come.

- SG ~ Of course, you'd be on this list. Considering that my relationship status changed on April 26th because of you, there's a lot you've done to make it on here. You're always there if I need a shoulder to lean on any day, and I really love you for that. #relationship-goals? I think yes. And I have to say this again just to calm my nerves: I love you.

- Alea ~ You're such a great friend, and you're really funny too. Even though by the time I'm adding you to this it's already three months into 2019, I wish that we remain friends for the entirety of this wonderful year. [ADDED 3-6-19]

- Bean ~ My OldCP son, I hope you're not ashamed of me for forgetting to put you on here. There's a lot of similarities between us, of which I won't go into detail. Nevertheless, you've still made me grin multiple times this year, which is what earned you a small shoutout here. Under normal circumstances, I probably wouldn't have even bothered to put you here. If I remember correctly, when we actually first met, I think I was trying to get you to convert to drac. It didn't work. If my memory is wrong, just completely ignore that.

- Zen ~ You're one of the people I'd go to first if I needed some good laughs. It's only natural that my best friends would be in my shoutouts for 2018. Zen, never stop being you, and I too hope that you'll still be my friend in 2019. It'd be a shame to be friends since 2015, when we first met, and have what could be the best friendship in the history of friendships, end now. Anime lovers & best friends forever, then.

- 4207b ~ What did you expect? The person who got me into My Hero Academia has definitely earned himself a spot on here. He's there when I'm feeling down, even if I swear to God that I'm fine. That's true friendship right there.

- Dragon ~ I trust you so much that I'd follow you to the ends of the Earth (reference to that song by NateWantsToBattle.) There's not a single day that goes by that I haven't been made grin because of you. Whether it be just seeing your discord tag, or watching your antics on oldcp, a smile is always brought to my face. I remember when you sent me a dm for the first time, I was lowkey grinning like an idiot even if I acted annoyed because of you making my phone vibrate like 20 times within 3 minutes.

- Seb ~ We haven't really talked much, but I'm slowly getting used to being a more social person (like I was before I got into high school). If you're by my side while I get used to being social again, I'm sure it'll be a lot easier.

- Flame ~ Flame the Lit Cheeto. I repeat, I can't recall a day that I haven't smiled when you're online. You're a great friend, and reply to dms faster than most others.

- Zoe ~ The sheer fact you make a habit (or so I think) to remind me that you love me (platonically) just about every time both of us are online. It really makes me break into a smile that begins to hurt my face after a while. Thanks for being an amazing person.

- Loki ~ For as long as I can remember (ie. since my drac days), you've been someone who I consider a best friend to me. [Off of OldCP I unconsciously began saying "oki doki Loki." I don't know how that's relevant, but I thought I should bring it up anyway.]

- Tave ~ Ah yes, my oldcp dad. Someone who I've become used to seeing whenever i happen to log on while he is as well. While we've had our bad days, there's nothing that can either of us hate the other for the rest of our lives. Hate's a strong word that I hope I never use again.

- Khal ~ In a short period of time, you've become someone that I can count on like I can count on Flame. To be frank, I'm actually really glad to have met you. While there was a day that you decided to lecture me, you stated that you didn't want me to end up feeling like crap.

- Swirlie ~ I haven't talked to you as much as I probably should have, but there's always the new year ahead of us. Every time I see you online, I end up grinning, and it's only now that I realized that I want to be someone that you can trust on a personal level. Or maybe not on that level, but you get the point.

- Sriram ~ The most unexpected person you'd think to see on this list. You've allowed me to rant about God knows what to you in DM. I like to know people who let me do that whenever I really need to rant about something.

- Seth ~ The first time, I completely forgot to put you on here, but have no fear. For you are now here. Earlier in the year, I'm highly aware that I spoke to you more than I do now. It was for reasons that I can't seem to think of, but I hope that in 2019, I'll start to talk to you as much as I did before.

- Kara ~ The one I look up to, and am not afraid to admit it. Sometimes, all you need in life is a clear picture of who you want to become, and that'll help you through life. A quote that I completely came up with out of nowhere, but I think it works. Kara, please don't stop being such an awesome person.

- Stroke ~ A close friend that I had a tiny fight with a few months ago on Discord. We've forgiven each other, of course, but there's no doubt that at some point it'll come back to bite us. Hopefully, in 2019, there'll be no fights between us.

- Lee ~ Yet another close friend, but that doesn't put you at a low spot on my list of friends. You're a great ruler of Das, as well as a fantastic friend. Keep it up.

- Brit ~ One doesn't simply mention Lee without mentioning Brit immediately after. Again, a fantastic friend. A memory that I have with you is what you said on what was formerly my birthday server, throwing snowballs at me to make me lag, and I know that it was all in good fun.

- Lush ~ There's not much to say here, but Lush is one of the greatest people who came into my life this year. I think that's self explanatory.

- Rachel ~ In a time that I really needed someone to talk to, you happened to be the one who messaged me first. Because of that, I'm glad that I was able to become friends with you.

- Joseph ~ A mod that I am very proud to be the friend of. That just goes to show how far simply telling someone that their outfit is fabulous, can truly go. I was once a mere person who happened to compliment Joseph, and now I'm a person who he can consider a friend, a strange friend, but a friend nonetheless.

- Tom ~ Another person who I haven't spoken much to, but am growing comfortable around. No matter what people might say about you, I'll always consider you an awesome person. Anyone willing to put up with my idiocy at times, is someone worthy of my friendship.

- Eleanor ~ A special part of the mainsssss GC on Discord. Things wouldn't be the same without you in it, even if you don't send messages as often as the rest of us. We're both nerds in our own ways, and I love that. You're a great friend, and I hope this friendship goes on into 2019.

- Narcissa ~ I might not talk to you as much, apart from telling you through Discord whatever's happening on oldcp, but I value my friendship with you just as much as others. Something that I remember but never shared with you, was screenshotting us together one day, and sending it to SG saying that you stole me from him (in a friendly sense.) It was pretty funny, honestly.

- Paradise ~ A friend I gained either through Bean or on my own, I can't truly remember. But I appreciate Para a lot. While there haven't been any big memories that I have with her, sometimes it's better to remember the smaller stuff. When she and Bean were still together, I can recall sometimes sitting near them and other times choosing to sit a little ways away. Para is an amazing person to have as a friend, and while I usually hide my emotions, I have no problems admitting that whenever I'm online with Para, I smile without a care in the world about who sees that smile. It's a genuine smile every time. Thank you for being a great friend, Para.

- Oreoes [Oreo] ~ More of a new friend, but still one that I appreciate being in my life. One specific memory that keeps popping into my head when I think of you is something that happened only yesterday. Not to name any names here, we'll call the person... TheresNoMilk. TheresNoMilk said something about your name being copyright and I said "I thought the copyright was Oreoes not Oreo. Oreo is literally just a single cookie." {not exactly in that way, I'm just too lazy to turn off auto correct.} Anyway, I wanted to say that you're a pretty funny person, and I hope to still be considered a friend of yours in the years to come.

- Julian ~ the hecc and fricc duo. Thanks for allowing me to fix your spelling, it's something I'll always be glad to help with.

- Frame ~ the legend known for egg puns (in my eyes, at least.) You're just awesome in general, I hope to see more of your awesomeness in the years ahead.

- George ~ EYYYYY, it's been a while since we last actually talked. Legend *-* (at the very least, you're a legend to me.)

- Orbay ~ Sans the Banana. Jk, but you're a hilarious person to have as a friend. In some cases, you become a serious person, but there's funny lines bubbling under the surface. When I was still a drac, I remember I didn't talk to you much, but I acknowledged your existence at least. And in the drac chat, I recall sending a post I made on Quotev about how I exposed that you were a toaster. Good times, that post got like 5 likes on it.

- Tasha ~ We might not have a long history together, but I know that I'm vv comfortable with being social around you. I very clearly remember when I somehow read your title as 'nice priest' lol.

- Accal/Gamer ~ slams door bc u walked in. jk. You were the first person to realize that my mood had dropped on June 20th, and actually did something about it. I appreciate that, and you in general. Thanks for being a true friend that day.

- Rila ~ You're so sweet, Rila. I remember you being a loyal shipper of Kaylock, and for the short time you were in the discord server that I made for it, I smiled every time you reacted to one of the screenshots of Kaylock. You're a great person all around to spend time with. Also, #toastytrain.

- Alatar ~ There's not much to put here, but #AlatarProtectionSquad. P.S. Alatar is BFF.

Anyway, I think that's every person that has made my day this year.
Overall, my rating for 2018 is a whole 7.8/10, because apparently it is possible to have too many of one thing.

Fun fact: Hunter x Hunter was taken off of Netflix on my birthday one year.

I joined originally in 2015
I am 16 now.

I have a fairly small list of fandoms nowadays. In the past years, I overly extended this list. It's been shortened quite a bit, though I feel that at some point it may eventually become as long as it once was.
Without anymore useless information, here's the list:

- My Hero Academia (Boku No Hero Academia) ~ Courtesy of 4207b. Still waiting for season 4....

- Little Witch Academia ~ Courtesy of Netflix; the last episode really hit me in the feels.

- The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K. ~ Thanks to my sister for this one. Kokomi Teruhashi is a bit marysue, as she believes that the entire world revolves around her, but I will admit she's pretty.

- Undertale / Deltarune (even if the two games are on separate timelines) ~ Flame introduced me to Deltarune. And I only got into Undertale because of Jacksepticeye's videos. As well as Merg.

- Naruto (+ Shippuden) ~ My sister again, Naruto was the first tidbit of anime I ever saw.

- We Bare Bears ~ Cartoon Network is always on my side...

- Pokemon (the games and the anime) ~ I don't know exactly what got me into the franchise. All I can remember is finding it as a recommended pick for me on Netflix, watching literally one episode and then joining the fandom.

- Hunter x Hunter ~ The anime that got me into anime officially. It's a great show, really. It was on Netflix for a while and then it was taken off.

- Soul Eater ~ It was a suggestion from my sister. I ended up loving it (and Black Star in particular), so much that I went and watched all of the episodes.

- Fullmetal Alchemist (+ Brotherhood) ~ It was yet another recommended pick on Netflix. I also saw a lot of posts on Tumblr entailing Ed and it interested me.

Either way, that's my current list of active fandoms. For whatever reason, I decided to add how I got into each one, though there isn't exactly much of a cause for We Bare Bears. It's just Cartoon Network's doing.

i'm glad to be back

I am sure that many of you recognize me. What very few people (ie. Pablo) would call a legend, the one and only Kayden, formerly known as KaylinStoll1. I was once a very social person, but now, I am a very quiet and shy soul.

I have been on OldCP since the year of 2015, not a very long time, but long enough to gain a spot on a list of the most generous and possibly even friendliest people.

I am an anime addict, a weeb, if you prefer that terminology.

I have a love for oceanography now, as it has become my favorite class in school. Also, I am a junior in high school. So close to graduating, yet so far at the same time.

I retained my love of writing from three years earlier, that is something that I will never lose.

I left OldCP for a while earlier this year, due to fear, but I have returned, and it's for good this time. Never again will I leave. The account that I use now is monoma, for anyone curious.

Now, as I end this post, let the chaos unfold.
