What version did you join OldCP, what year?
I joined in May 2013. I believe it was v5 but I don’t remember exactly, I do remember being able to play different versions like v3 and v4 as well though.
What was your original username when you joined OldCP?
The first account I ever made was my newcp username, Mkeyg1, but for some reason like a week after joining OldCP I couldn’t login so I went under a new name that I still use today, Key123 (although my actual username was ‘key123’ without the capital K up until January 2014).
Who was the first OldCP Moderator you spoke to, what did you ask them (if you said anything)?
Honestly I don’t remember at all. I think it was Ghost, but I’m pretty sure he was an admin at that time. I do remember Iceesofie being the first mod to add me as a buddy though, which at the time I thought was a huge deal because a mod wanted to be my friend.
When you joined OldCP were any parties happening? (e.g. the Fair)
I forget the official name of the party but I do remember it being summer themed. I remember the Night Club as a Ship Wreck and then I think the Coffee Shop was a Clam Shell or something like that.
What is the first OldCP villain you remember, what were they known for?
The Inspector Agents. They “hijacked” the server during GOM (I think it was September 2013) and sent everybody who was online into an igloo, they banned Damen and a few of the mods before they were banned as well.
Who was your first real OldCP friend, do they still play today?
My first OldCP friend was probably Bacon, most people remember her as Littlemix or Little though. If I remember, she was playing all the way back during the original Snailschat days. I am almost certain she no longer plays.
Who is someone who has had a positive impact on you thus far?
Theres too many to even count. My first influencers were some of the older mods like Fizz and Iceesofie. Little and OoBubblesoO (Blubbs) had a pretty positive impact on me, and so did you Sadie! but yeah there were a lot of people who have impacted me positively throughout my time here.
What was your favorite part of coming on OldCP, why?
It was really just because I was playing the real Club Penguin again. I had been playing the game since Kindergarten and being able to come back to it was absolutely amazing.
Who is one person that use to play but no longer does, do you miss them?
Again, too many to count, but one person specifically would probably be Pickle1020. That man was my buddy.
If you could bring back one user from the past who would it be, why?
It’d be really cool to have Fizz back and making those interviews again, those were good times.
What was your first rank on OldCP, are you still that rank?
The first rank I had was Mod, which I got for the first time in January 2014. Back then there were really only a handful of ranks anyway so it was a pretty big deal to even have any type of rank, let alone mod.
Were you ever banned on OldCP, why?
I don’t think so!
Were you ever lucky enough to witness the iconic Moderator Panel?
Yup! Very early stages of it though and half the time not everything even worked in it but it was still really cool.
Are you an OG user who remembers when the lighthouse was attacked?
Is it bad that I don’t remember that?
Who do you consider one of your best friends on OldCP?
Everyone is my best friend tbh. I never really had any specific best friends on here besides when I first joined. Freddy2462, Little, Sheep, and OoBubblesoO
If you could be any rank on OldCP what would it be and why?
If I was back in 6th grade again and still consistently played this game I’d definitely want to become an Admin just because of that red name.
What is your favorite OldCP memory, when you think about it what does it make you feel?
My favorite memory has to be when I won GOM with Bakon and Bailey. Best experience I’ve ever had on this game.
What is your least favorite memory?
Probably my trial. Lots of false accusations were involved and I’m just glad that it didn’t ruin my reputation in the community.
If you could go back to any year on OldCP what one would it be, why?
Definitely Fall 2013, back when things were so much simpler. This game had just started to get big and would have around 50-60 users on during week days and even more during weekends, it was great.
How has joined the OldCP community affected you, where would you be today had you of not joined?
Man I would be a lot different if it weren’t for this community. It affected me for the good and the bad as well. I’ve really learned about how close people who don’t even know each other and who may live on opposite ends of the Earth can still have such a great bond and friendship with each other. I’ve also learned that I should probably be doing school work instead of being on here but I don’t really care because I’d probably be procrastinating even if I wasn’t playing this game.
That was probably the best 30 minutes I’ve spent working on a post in a very long time. Made me think a lot about the old days. Just wait, 5 years down the road I could come back across this post and think to myself “Man, I remember the good old days when Damen first opened the DSGHQ forums back up and I made this post looking back on when I first joined OldCP”. It’s crazy how big of an impact this game has had on my childhood and I honestly don’t think I’ll ever forget it. Thanks for making this post Sadie, now I’m gonna look at what other people have said.

I think this is a great idea but have some questions as well.
Would someone have to report this Mod for what they did, and how would they go about doing this if admins don’t respond to messages?
What if a Mod is reviewed and is allowed to keep their job but they become a repeat offender once again? Will they be reviewed again or will they automatically be demoted?
What if someone makes a false report on a Mod?
What if a Mod denies someone rightfully reporting them, and there are no witnesses beside the one person who reported the Mod?
I may or may not have more questions as time goes on but, keep up the great work and continue to make this community a better place!

Honestly I would have loved to have been a News Reporter back in the day when I got online daily and was actually active in the community, but now I'm not nearly active enough to become a News Reporter. I wish those trying to become a Reporter luck though!

Has anybody ever realized that the lounge area above the Coffee Shop still has burn marks from the explosion back in 2013? I was there the other day and noticed that. Idk, I just thought that I’d point that out

Been Vegan For 45 Minutes...

I just got back from McDonalds like 45 minutes ago... I got a Big Mac and some chicken nugs. My experience with being vegan for 45 minutes has gone pretty well so far though. When do I get my badge?
