Even though we got sent out and were disqualified, the entire team worked well together and the leader had great leadership skills. That's probably why one of our own won that season..
We overcame failure that season and turned it into victory. We’re hoping that this season will be full of victory and victory only.

My fondest memory would probably have to be either winning the first stage ever in the first ever Game of Mods with Team Hoodies back in July 2013, getting forums mod for the first time, becoming mod in January of 2014, beta testing Penguin Isles, or winning GOM with Bakon and Bailey later in 2014. I've had a lot of great memories in this community though and honestly I can't really pick my favorite one.

This is it, this will be the Freehawks’ 13th and final competition. We are retiring, returning to our nests forever, never to return again. Over the years our team had many highs and lows, we have achieved greatness no other team has ever achieved and will ever achieve, but next month, next month will be the greatest Mod Comp, Moderator Competition, Game of Mods, or whatever name you have chosen to give this one of a kind event anyone has ever seen.
This season marks the 25th edition of the Game of Mods, and this season’s edition of the GOM will be something remembered in this community long after 2019. This season will mark the end of a legacy of a team, and a house that been around for nearly 6 years. It really is crazy to think about how much has changed and even how much has stayed the same after all this time. I am really thankful that Damen has stuck around and continued to hold this Game of Mods through all of these years. We would really like to thank him for all of the time and effort he has put into this game.
We are dedicating this final season to everybody who has ever worn the Orange wings and that space suit, and with the help of the DSGHQ Forums opening back up again, I am going to list every documented Freehawk to ever compete with us and give a special thanks to some of them as well. You guys are what made this team and helped us get to where we are today.

Milan & Jacob: You guys are pretty much the Journey of today. You both helped when I reached out to you guys in early June 2017 and helped take that team to their 6th GOM Title, nearly 3 years after the last time we had won or even competed. You guys are probably the best duo I’ve ever seen. Better than MJ and Rodman, better than Peanutbutter and Jelly, you get the point. Its just amazing what you guys have accomplished together.
It is going to be sad after the conclusion of this season, but I do believe that it will be a time to celebrate what all we have accomplished. 6 GOM Titles, 7 Winners, 13 Appearances. I’m so glad we were able to come together one final time and compete. We have many returning from our championship team in Summer 2017, including Milan and Chopper. I just wish we could have the same leader that started it all be the one to put this team to rest, sadly Journey isn’t here though... Instead I will take over for this team’s final competition. I am definitely going to be rusty as I don’t think I’ve led this team since 2015 or maybe it was even earlier than that, my memory isn’t necessarily the best. Anyways though, I will be leading the Freehawks one last time before we hang up the boots for good, and I wish all of those competing in this season’s GOM good luck as well.
Thank you all for taking the time to read all of this, it took me longer than I expected to actually complete this and now that we’re here I guess I can tell you guys just to sign up now to become a Freehawk! We are looking for more experienced members in the community, although anybody is welcome to apply. There will be a post coming shortly for those who are interested in being apart of this team’s final run towards greatness.

Downloaded discord for the first time in months out of boredom this morning and was surprised to find out that these forums were brought back again! Spent a good hour in a half looking at old posts, good times man.
Let’s begin though, this post is about to be short as I don’t necessarily have much time to make this at the moment and the fact that I spent a good 30 minutes trying to figure out which character in my old username was uppercase, that was a massive pain, but I am indeed back! At least until the end of February possibly. Don’t know how active I’m gonna be during this time and even after that time. Also considering bringing back the Freehawks for a third time for the upcoming GOM, more on that in a separate post that may or may not be made today.
Anyways, how’s everything going? How are you guys? Would you like to join my GOM team called the Freehawks?
