Guys, nobody is on the team at the moment besides Orchardtop. He showed that he deserved the position already. Please attend tomorrow's tryouts if you want to join.

I know I have been abandoning the DSGHQ lately, but it is because school is getting off getting off so I had to finish up missing work, I had finals and other stuff like that. Now that school is out though I am here to announce the date for the Freehawks tryouts! Let's get into this!
If you guys don't know what or who the Freehawks are check out our channel #Freehawks to find out. But here is the basic stuff.
-We are a Moderator competition team
-We stick together
-We have meetings
-We are the only mod comp team left that has played in the first mod games in July 2013.
Anyways now for the good stuff. The first Freehawk Tryouts being held will be Sunday 2:30 PM EST @ /Jr freehawksbase the other one will be Friday (day after Christmas) 12 PM EST @ /jr freehawksbase. Depending upon how many show up will show up will depend upon how many can join the squad. Good luck!
In other news, we are also holding up applications for the Freehawks board. We are clearing all board members but will leave atleast 2 not including me. Here are the requirements for the board.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be on the Freehawks (Unless YOU Are A Staff member)
-Must have been on the DSGHQ for atleast 3 months
-Must have self control
-Must be on OldCP 3-5 days a week for an hour atleast
-Must have a forum account
All you have to do is pm me the application and I will be sure to read it right away!
Anyways I have to go now so I guess I should leave it off here! If you liked this post be sure to comment about what you feel about the Freehawks tryouts!

When it comes to the ones who won't be active for over a week, all they have to do is notify Damen that they'd be inactive for over a week. And I do agree, the active ones are pretty good. And clearing the staff list would be to fill it back up again. You know just to get rid of the inactive ones.

Lately I have seen people with ranks that were acting like the opposite of their actual rank. It saddens me sometimes when I see a user such as a Knight for example act like a Mod and start bossing everyone around. Sometimes I see Mods not even doing anything, they are online but for 90% of the time they are afk, so while people are swearing in front of the Mod he/she won't even be paying attention. I think that this should be put to a stop. People need to start using their ranks to their full ability and not just say it's no big deal. I think that Mods should start acting like Mods, I think that Masters need to start acting like Masters, I just think that people should take their rank seriously, even if you don't have a rank still atleast try to earn one. We need to help fix this problem. I mean half the Masters haven't came on in atleast a month, one of the reasons why I came back was to help out in this community, and by helping it out I want to start helping Damen put the right users in the right place. Demote the users that don't take their rank seriously, and promote the ones who would take their rank seriously.

I have seen Masters doing the exact OPPOSITE of their jobs. Their jobs are to report anything important to Moderators & to be role models for the lower ranks in this community, there has only been a select few who have done that. What I have seen most Masters doing have been: Goofing off, getting in trouble with the Mods, being inactive, and much more. Most of the current Master list don't even deserve Master. Hopefully those users are soon demoted from the rank they truly don't deserve. But Masters aren't the only rank that has been acting like it's no big deal, others too.

Moderators similar to Masters. They're jobs are to be role models, to enforce the law of the DSGHQ, they are one of the highest ranks up there. Sadly some of the staff members are doing a poor job right now too. They goof off a lot more then back in the v6 days of OldCP, and yes mods can still have fun but they are taking the "We can still have a little fun." A little too far. In my opinion if you are a mod and if you are not on either the forums or Snaildom (depending upon if your a mod for the forums or Snaildom) for 8 days, you should be demoted. It's as simple as that. But that isn't the case, Mods have been getting away with going inactive for weeks, even months but still haven't been demoted. We've got to even up the staff a little bit more. If we can keep a healthy, active staff then we can make the DSGHQ a much better place. We just need a place to start. This might sound crazy but I think that starting a new staff would be wise. I think we should find a time to clear the entire staff our and get a new one. Yes, a few of the staff members will keep their position, but for the most part I think we should get a new staff.
Anyways, you heard my opinion about some of the ranks and what we should do about it to help make sure that the staff doesn't get worse and worse. And that we should do something instead of having an inactive staff list with only 2 or 3 mods that are on for a decent amount of time.

Hello DSGHQ! As some of you know, I have started a brand new competition like game on Snaildom. The trailer will be at the end if the post if you wanna read it by the way! Now let's get into it!
About: This was created so that whilst waiting for the next Moderator Competition to arrive you can join in on a fun little competition with your friends. Although this competition is not as important as the actually Moderator Competition this competition
will just be for fun.

Nope! There will be aa range of teams. From 2 teams to 6 teams.

Hello guys, it is good to be seeing you once again. I am here to announce that I WILL be returning to OldCP. And I will talk about why I left, why I am returning, and any other notes that I need to use.
Why I left.
Anyways there are a few reasons why I left oldcp. One of them was because school was starting back up again and I had a lot of work to do alongside football practice 3 days a week. So I would never be on. Another reason why I left is because of drama. The drama was because some people didn't want me back the FIRST time I came back. At first I ignored it then I realized that they wouldn't stop. So it was kinda like cyber bullying to me but hopefully they have left the DSGHQ by now. So that is basically how I left.
Why I returned.
The reason why I came back was because I felt it was time to join again, make some new friends, and because all of my true friends really did want me back. So at first I said I would come back in January. But because of how much they wanted me back.
For all of the Freehawks.
About the Freehawks, as you know Suzy became the owner. Sadly I will be taking back my position. But Suzy will not go down far. She will now be the Co-owner/co-leader for the next mod games. I will lead the Freehawks for the first time ever since May of 2014. For all of you people that wish to become a Freehawk please head to #Freehawks and subscribe. And also come to the house as well! Anyways I will be heading off and be updating the channel now so thank you all for the support while I was gone I really appreciated it. Now what are you guys doing here let's celebrate!
