My best word of advice is to simply say wellness first. In life, we tend to constantly slave ourselves away, and at the end of the day, we burn out. This can be mentally and physically, life is an exhausting process. Also, learn to say no. I know many of us to tend to want to say yes, and we want to help as much as we can, but learning to say no really has saved me.
Manage your time, even though you have deadlines, learn to manage time. Make time for wellness as stated previously, and understand that regardless of how slow or fast you accomplish something, at the end of the day you'll reach your desired goal. Don't become a slave in a world where you have to work to live, make time for yourself & always take the time to fit in things you love to do, otherwise what purpose is living a life centered around constantly reaching the goals of 1.) school or 2.) your work. Live life!
i'd love to have pulled the burnout card but these deadlines are non-negotiable
There’s no avoiding deadlines, I completely understand. But please never forget that ur wellness is far more important. Focus on the task, but once completed, give yourself a much need wellness break. Nothing in life is nearly as important as your mental and physical health, don’t let anyone or anything indoctrinate you into believing otherwise.

You’re smart, and dedicated. You’ll get through this, I know you will! Good luck. ?

Move forward, and become a better version of the previous version of yourself. As a Cancer, following any trauma or end to a "chapter" per-say, we reinvent ourselves. Do just that, never stop living. Your life should never be restricted by another person, nobody but yourself can hold you back. <3

Hold up, 7… whole … years ..?
That’s it, being in this community shows me how fast time really is going, life’s too short! ?

On a side-note, it’s remarkable how long the DSGHQ and all affiliated games/creations have stayed alive for so long.

IRONIC? Or iconic? Lmao, I'm surprised I made this list but I'm glad I had some sort of impact on you without even trying, lol.

oops, it autocorrected. It’s supposed to say iconic.

I'm offended I did not make this list, and I am only partially joking about that. *looks at* Even if this is a POTM list! :'(

Posted in Late night thoughts I've been having for a while. • 9th September 2021, 07:34 PM

Wow, this discussion really sparked a bunch of feelings for me...

Honestly, I can remember joining this community way back in early 2013. Back then, I remember always wanting to spread positivity, hence my nickname (at the time) "Positive Queen". I always recall the people who influenced me the most, people like Sunwolf, thisismyname, Tornado, Journey, and so many more... a lot of these users have since moved on, but as you said, their legacy is always left behind. My biggest goal here is to leave a positive legacy. I want to spread positive energy, enlighten users, and make their experience here (or whenever in my presence) a positive experience.

To be completely blunt, I'm not sure why I haven't moved on from this community... I was 12 when I joined, and now I just turned 21 in July. I feel like a part of me feels unfinished here, even though this community as a whole has died down a bit... I feel as if I have unfinished business. I will likely stay around until the final days of the DSGHQ, just to be spiteful, haha. Regardless, you make a ton of valid points within your discussion, and I couldn't agree more with everything you stated above. :)

Operation Blackout for sure takes a high spot, simply because of how iconic it was! Aunt Arctic coming out as the Director? I was shook.

However, the holiday parties always sparked my interest primarily because of all the free stuff they gave out… the Halloween parties were fun too. I dunno, I used to get excited for every party. I remember waking up at night and seeing the Club Penguin advertisements on Disney channel where it was like “THE BLAH BLAH PARTY GOING ON NOW!”… man, where has my childhood gone to? ?
