glad these regulations are finally here. I'll be honest, when I returned to OldCP, I got knight easily, and so did other users. I hope this prevents knight's from breaking weapon-rules, as well as making oldcp less prevalent around death

I entered this community with the name 'Syd', but as the majority of you know: most first names are fake. I'd also like to change it as there's confusion with my name and other people named Syd/Sid - anything similar to it. So, I've decided to change it to 'Silas', since that's my real name. This isn't the only occasion where I have wanted to go by my real name either, so it's not entirely about this scenario.

I think it could still impact resistance towards the problem. It adds extra time and makes the process more tedious. As door suggested too, administrator's approving accounts could help.

Users who troll create alts to avoid being banned. Is it possible to add an external verification method, like emails?
