Hey there! Okay, so since yesterday, people have been freaking out and picking sides since buying gold came out. That shouldn't be whats happening. I created this post to show you what would and could happen if you guys kept this controversy going. I will also show some Pros and Cons.

Okay first of all, this argument could split the DSGHQ apart. I will not pick a side, since in this case it would be wrong in doing so. Anyways, picking a side shows whether you like the idea or not, and others will follow.

What has been added is buying gold. Not only that, the thing most have been complaining about is being able to buy Master, and even Moderator. You guys are complaining saying that you need trust and responsibility to complete the rank, which I agree with. I will now show you a Pro and Con list about the topic.

PROS

• There is now another way to obtain gold.
• This is totally supporting the DSGHQ!
• There are now new updates to the Store.

These are some of the basics, for the list could drag on and on. Here are some Cons.

CONS

• Anyone can obtain Moderator. (Which is what you say. Honestly, this rank is 10000 to buy, and it is only to see if you can handle it. Although, even if you can go either way, this is the main reason there is a chance the DSGHQ could fall apart)
• Anyone can obtain Master. (Which some of you are fighting on still)
• You aren't really earning your gold/ranks.

All the cons are things I have heard from you guys since yesterday. Now, Damen works hard to have this website up, and he could just spare himself the troubling hours he puts into all his games every week and shut it down. Now, I am not saying I am on his side, nor am I on anyone's side.

Although, I believe I have an idea that could settle all of this. To buy Master, you would need the rank Member. To buy Moderator, you would need the rank Master (or Knight, Wise, etc). Now, some of you are thinking: "But wait, can't you just buy Master then Moderator?" I have another idea. I think it would be best if you would have to wait 336 hours (2 weeks) before you can buy another rank. (Such as, if you bought Master, you would need to wait 2 weeks if you wanted to buy Moderator)

Finally, I think you guys should just end the controversy! Its a very silly topic really, and some of you are dwelling on the fact that anyone can get Moderator by buying it. 10000 gold. No one has ever even had that much before. I understand your worries, but this is for the best in the DSGHQ. Again, i'm not on either side, I just want to help end this argument, for you don't want to end a game you guys all love... do you? Thank you.

Well, I think it is just Sunset now; at the top of the home screen, the event is shown as the "Trail of Sunset", not Sunset and May23. Either way, I wish for best intentions at the trial.

Hi there! Today, I wanted to talk to you guys about Depression on the Forums. The topic in general is different then what people are doing here. For example, some of you are getting depressed because you lost your rank/aren't trusted as much as you used to be. Let me tell you this. Giving up isn't the best start.

Sometimes, there are tough times we have to handle. Putting them of, or even making goals further away won't help either. There are things called setbacks. Everyone in their lives experiences this at some point, and for some many, many, many times. But they're only setbacks. They aren't boundaries saying that this is off-limits forever.

Another thing I have been hearing is some of you are getting depressed by bullies. For starters, bullies try to make you feel bad; it's their goal. Most bullies have been bullied their-selves, or most are put through hard times. Please remember that bullies cannot really harm you, and there are other options rather than being depressed, such as ignoring them or telling a responsible adult.

The real reason I made this post is to show you that depression is not going to make your goals any closer; the path any shorter, it just makes it harder for you to gt back up. You don't need someone or something to tell you that you can do good. Ranks don't show that you're better, they just show more power/responsibility with power. This post was made for no one in particular, just a reminder that everyone can accomplish something without reminders that they'll succeed. Thank you.

Afwv6, sometimes there are hard struggles in life. You know, sometimes there are a lot of times when we don't think we'll get up from this. I know you don't think you have anything left, but you really do have us. Also, bullies only want you to feel insecure about yourself. Don't let them get to you; they only want themselves to feel better. Honestly, I want you to think about this. Would you rather think about all the chances you could have in the future by just being the great you many of us have known, or do you want to mope around? Thank you.

Hey everyone! Excited that the Forums is back up? Anyways, I was looking at my notifications and saw a comment on my mood. Look at the last one here, and you might realize what I'm suggesting.



If you don't know, I would like to suggest a News Column for OldCp. What does this mean? Well, maybe there could be a News Button right next to the Relogin Button at the bottom of OldCp. there could be all the latest Forums News, such as competitions, additions, updates, when anything will be down, upcoming games/events, etc.

I really think this would help for the ones who don't access the Forums, so they could stay on top of things. Anyways, I would like feedback on my idea of whether you like it or not. Bye now!

Well, in general, I think Damen put the ads there, but I believe you're talking about the ones that block the Chat. Well, I believe that this is a glitch, and it was supposed to be somewhere else on the screen, but because of the chat being there, the format had no other choice but to put it there. So, I agree with you. I think this should be fixed.

Er, not to be rude, but you would get in extreme trouble if you actually did this. Are these just stories, or are you trying to prove yourself great by saying that you did things that you didn't do. I honestly don't want to be rude, but I've seen all your posts, and they never seem to make sense to me.

There are many people that create news reports despite being a News Reporter. Honestly, some of our greater news reporters started out making reports without having the rank. Anyone has the power to keep the Forums updated, but no one has the power to tell you only News Reporters can. So, I say go for it

Hello there!

I don't have the first requirement, the one to be familiar with being a Wise Counselor. I have never had a position relating to being a Wise One, or have such powers, so I do not really have much experience with that said.

Although, I have been Moderator multiple times, and I believe I have the responsibility and schedule to treat this position correctly, but due to inactivity a few months ago, I was demoted. I have never lost heart in my goal to succeed in the DSGHQ, and I believe this is my chance to resurrect my position in another way. As-well as knowing how to treat Moderator powers, I am active (As said before, I was inactive, but am active once again) and can fulfill the duties of being a Wise Tobler moth Priest.

I have been on the Forums since September 2013, and have gained around 1,800+ reputation. I try to consider myself wise, but I am unique in my own way, and am wacky at times. But, I do put thought into each and everyone of my posts, and I think of my reputation well earned.

I am 13 now, almost 14, and I believe I am mature enough to take this responsibility into hand. I would never leak a secret, and I never have. The DSGHQ means so much to me, and I would never let a thing like this ruin the amazing times I've had here.

This wouldn't really be considered an application, just a list of everything you've used as requirements. Other than that, I've achieved not many different positions, only Moderator, and I think this would be a familiar yet new change for me. I honestly don't think as myself as the greatest legend in the DSGHQ, since others have accomplished much more than I ever imagined of. But I believe this can be my huge comeback. Thank you for giving me multiple chances before Damen, it means a lot that you gave some time to put your trust in me.

Anyway, the person who made this post was saying that everyone that is a rookie and has 50 posts ad 30+ reputation should be a member, and that you should make a mood saying that they have requirements for member. I like this, but I wanted to talk about some reasons and pros/cons about this topic.

Lets give an example shall we? There is someone who has 50 posts and 30+ reputation, but spams a lot and doesn't really follow the rules. In this example, I want to show that Member is also earned not by your stats, but by your behavior and nature.

Another reason some aren't promoted is because it isn't noticed. Example Number 2 now. There is someone with 50 posts and lets say 70+ reputation. They make informative posts, and follow the rules. They have what it takes to become a Member, but they aren't noticed by Staff, so they don't become member for a while.

Example Number 2 is to show that there are many in examples who are deserving, but aren't noticed. These are probably the two main reasons, so now I want to list some pros and cons about this topic real quick.

PROS:

• You are one step closer to Master.
• You are somewhat more trusted than rookies.

Just a reminder, there aren't any pros nor cons on this topic due to the fact it isn't really debatable. There are really no cons to this, yet some rookies are still considered as Member-worthy, or extremely trusted even if they are rookie.

This WHOLE post is to tell you that a rank can't show your position. These are two completely different things. There are those who change the world, just being unnoticed, such as inventors. There are those who think too much of themselves because of their rank and power, and think all will go well for them. There are those who are neither, but they are always somebody to someone.

Ranks aren't differences. You can be special without a position. If you don't get member, that's fine. You are still known as your individual. If you obtain Member, that's great! But people will still look at you from the inside. My point is, the truest will obtain the rank whilst the spoiled shall only fall downward. Thank you.

Great post Hashir. The difference between saying that you are retired and demoted are different. You can say you retired from your position because you couldn't handle it, and you can say you got demoted from your position because of whatever reason. But you cannot say you were retired when you were demoted.

I have seen this before, where people just give up after they lose their rank. They are saying that they can't get back up after they've fallen, and it saddens me that they don't at least deal with the fact that they were demoted and move on. Although, I cannot blame anyone for doing this; everyone has their own personal lives, and we all have our own problems. +10. (Sadly, they haven't invented that button yet. I'm still waiting for them to invent the 200+ button so I can use it upon your application.)

Hey there! Today, I was searching through someone's posts, and then I noticed that I couldn't get to the 3rd page of their pages. Everytime I tried to go to the next, or the last it just kept sending me back to the second page. I searched 3 other people's pages, and the same thing happened.

I'm not sure if this is just for me, or if it is for everyone, but I am 100% sure this is a glitch. I want to know (readers) if yours do the same thing.

Go to anyone's profile, search their "view posts" and then go onto the next page. Do this once again, and I want to see if you can get to page three. One thing I realized about this glitch is that you can go backwards pages, but not forward. Anyway, comment whether or not this happens to you, and have a nice day!
