Mod Of The Week

Hi there! First of all, I love your news! I have one complaint about this one though. I feel as if this one shows favoritism against Moderators. People can show their opinion as they feel, and say one is better than another. Moderators do their best at their job, but I don't want to be a hater. There is nothing wrong with stating opinion, like I am doing right now.
Anyway, good luck with future news.

Good for you! But, I would like to point out that since you are a Member now, I believe you should stop spamming discussions. This is your fourth in a row; I believe you should give it some time before your next discussion. Congratulations on becoming member again!

Tips While Using Wiki
•
1st January 2015, 03:16 PM
Hey there! CPManiac here, and I haven't really created a discussion in a while, but I have been realizing something that I wanted to talk about in the Wiki that I think could help some. This is mostly about editing Character pages, so listen through if you think this could help.
First of all, I have been noticing the use of he and she in people's pages. There are 2 things I mean by this. The context of saying "She is a former knight..." (example 1) is different from saying "She was a knight, and then she had applied for Moderator..." (example 2) Example 2 is wrong, for this is saying more about personal things; details that aren't really necessary.
Second of all, there are some that I think could be less specific. This is kinda related to my first point, yet not adding these things could make your wiki pages more professional. For example, using opinions on topics, wants (like ranks), and things that happen on a daily basis could make your page less professional.
Finally, to make your pages more professional, I would suggest not putting your page in the context of your own perspective. For example, saying things like "She/he was not cut out for (Specific job), so they tried out for (other specific job)" or "He/she was sorry she did this, and is hoping to become (specific job) again." What I mean is to not make it sound like the wiki page is another way to say something else.
You are responsible with your own page, and I think by following these tips, your page could improve. I am not an editing professional, but I believe these can help if you are seeking advice for a better page. Bye now!
(These are just some suggestions, like I have said, I am not a Wiki professional, and this is just my opinion on the topic)

There must be a mistake. I can't find the +200 like button. I'll just settle for the +1. Anyway, amazing application; you've been with the DSGHQ for so long; you deserve a chance at Administrator. You are extremely active and worthy, and you have worked many hours to have gotten where you are. Good luck buddy.

New! Player of the Day System Update
•
15th December 2014, 05:18 PM
Cool! Although, I'm not sure this would be a problem, but maybe some people would spam posts just to get to be the player of the day. I'm not sure if this would happen, I'm just thinking ahead. Otherwise, that was well thought out by Lloyd.

Hey there! I believe the screen margins were changed, so that the screen would cover up less space. In other words, I think Damen made the screen smaller to fit most computers, yet I am not fully sure on this.

Well, yes, he could have, but there isn't a rule saying he cannot make a post about it. He could put it in the Arts section, or maybe the Cool Stuff section. It really doesn't matter, I believe it is fine where it is. Although this could have been a mood, either way is okay and accepted.

Custom Creation Shell
•
12th November 2014, 08:40 PM
Hey there! This is my last shell I am going to make in the season, for the following reasons:
And for these reasons I am going to start the 2nd and final season on December 18th 2014. There will be 10 episodes in this season.
Anyway, back to my first custom creation. It is an outdoor cafe. It kinda looks like the tables are desks, but like I have said before; I do not have all the materials listed out for me, so this is the best I can do. Enjoy!
- They are expensive to make.
- I need to save up more coins for another season

New Addition: Forums Feed
•
11th November 2014, 12:57 PM
Hey there! There has been a new addition to the Forums, and it is called Forums News Feed. It shows all the things going on around the forums, such as things being pinned, things being changed, and things being updated.
You can find the Forums News Feed at forums.damenspike.com/newsfeed
Every time something new happens like a house being made will go on the feed, and will update constantly. This can also help you to catch up with things you've missed, or if you weren't there to see something, you can check out the News Feed. Anyway, have fun checking out the newest DSGHQ update!

Plaza OldCp Shell Remake
•
11th November 2014, 10:36 AM
Hey there! Today is my fourth remake, and it is of the OldCp Plaza. If you don't know what it looks like, look it up. It did not have The Stage, because this was one the earliest stages of the plaza. As I have said in previous posts, I cannot fully re-create these things, for I do not have stone or bricks or doors or signs, etc. But, I did the best I can, so enjoy!

OldCp Cove Shell Remake
•
10th November 2014, 04:54 PM
Hey there! Today, I have made another shell remake. If you remember the cove on OldCp, there used to be a scret hideout there. If you know Club Penguin today, there is a terrible remake of the cove that had came from a party they had. This is the older one I am talking about, yet I couldn't find anything to represent the shore & water combined except for flooring. Like I have said before, I couldn't make an exact replica, and I couldn't have all the same items. Anyway, here is my shell remake. Enjoy!

hey its me flower!
•

Hey there! I'm not sure if you are the real flower, because of a few reasons.
1) Your age is different on your profile.
2) You have a lot of typos, and Flowers aka Alicat does not make typos.
Now, I am not fully sure. The account Flowers wasn't used since four days ago, yet I still don't know if I believe you.

How To Guide @Forums
•
9th November 2014, 06:39 PM
Hey there! Haha, no this is not an actual guide. There are some things that keep troubling people over and over, and I would like to help with some of them.
Fonts
This is something that seems to stump many. You will not see this on the little tool bar. This is not too complicated, yet it only takes certain fonts, or all fonts from Microsoft Word I would say.
To use fonts, type [font= (font name) (Font) [/font]
List
This is an older one, but has a more complicated process. To use List, use this tactic:
To do another point, just do [*] again, and repeat these steps until finished.
Links
Links are another hard thing that stumps people. It seems like it is so easy, but there are many steps that can be left out. Here is the format:
If you still dont get it, let me make it a little clearer.
1) Type in this: [url=view/
2) Put in the number of the discussion you want to put in. You can find this in the web url at the top.
3) Do [/url
4) You have this:
Have fun!
