500k is fair, you can rack up the gold via donations. This way we don't get a new party every week.

Thats not true, in its prime, Presidency was the bridge between the admins and users. It would also introduce new ranks, and spike activity via new events.

A trend I've noticed on Harrison's recent post is the rising demand for presidency to make a return to OldCP. Presidency acted as the bridge between users and the Emperor, it also made many ranks. If the presidency made a return I would like to see some tweaks made that can guarantee its functionality.

1. political party verification system

For a party to be seen as legitimate they must deposit a fee of 500k gold
Have 20 signatures
And a post made explaining the parties values and other information

This is because when the presidency was still a thing on OldCP, the forums would be flooded with political party posts.

2. No crime zone interference in elections

The will of the people alone should be the determining factor of who gets to be president, not a third party.

If the presidency makes a return, we'll more than likely see an increase of activity, political rallies, and more.

Return of presidency, and punching, add punching.

I agree, the eyes of the law should hold no bias.

President should act as the bridge between the users and the Emperor, like Hashir said, as long as crimezone doesn't cause it to rig elections then I'm sure it'll serve its purpose.
