Alright, so I'm pretty sure about 50% of you probably think that the only thing I ever did was play on OldCp, if not more than that. So, I wanted to show you guys what I do in my free time, meaning when I'm not waddling around with you for a good half of the day.

Moderator application: Salsa

User: Salsa
Time zone: Pacific
Activity: very active
Wow… I've been here for over a year now, and yet this is my first post. I'm sure many of you know me, and have seen me around the OldCp site chatting away with possibly anyone I can find. For those who don't know me and are new my user is Salsa, and of course, I'm here to help you as well as become a friend that you can truly rely on.
When I first started playing OldCp back in 2013, around the time of v5, I realized that there was a different virtual air around the island, people constantly talking, no memberships and entitlements, and penguins walking on walls with blue names. Now at first I did not get what that was all about, and I'm sure that many new users today are just about as confused as I was, however, when that blue name waddled down to me, to help me get started, I thought “wow that's pretty weird." Of course in the beginning I thought it was odd to have someone walk down from a wall just to help you get clothes and figure out how to sit. But soon after I noticed that they did much more than be odd and sit on rooftops like batman, they watched over us, broke up fights, and they sometimes got down from their perch to be less batty and talk to you. I must say, back then was a little different from the new and improved OldCp v9.5, I mean of course it's always been the same game, but there are new people, and those fresh faces are excited and inspired to become a moderator, needless to say that they're a little less confused then I might have been.
Well, that long and endless story has brought me to my point. I believe that becoming a moderator would suit my odd need for helping people, as well as making as making no one feel let out and without a friend. That isn't the only reason by far. I want to become a part of the team that watches over people from the rooftops in batty mannerisms, and I wish to keep the island clean of noticeably unbecoming penguins which may, or may not, deter the newer faces of OldCp from playing along side us. I want everyone to enjoy their stay on OldCp, and that means making it a safer environment for the younger generations which are now coming in from Disney's Club Penguin, as well as the many other cpps’.
As time goes on in the game of OldCp, I would consider myself to be growing wiser, and by that I don't mean that I've suddenly become a superhuman with superior intellect, I mean the basic things such as knowing how people should behave, what to do or not do, and so on. By no standards am I someone who has become an accomplished moderator in other Club Penguin sites, and there is a reason to that, which is mainly that they aren't to my particular taste. And if I were to become one of the wonderful staff members here, to whom I have grown to love, I would stay on task, whilst keeping my same personality in check; I don’t want to become a mindless drone sitting on a rooftop. Quirky and serious is the only mix for me.
I hope you enjoy reading this and would kindly take into consideration how I could benefit the moderating team, as well as the general public, which to whom looks up to the staff and believes they can become a part of this bigger picture, just like I do.

Do you honestly think that tornado would do something like that? I think that's a horrible accusation. We should just drop the issue, because realistically Hashtag is in no REAL danger.
