Make sure that when you're pressing Shift + F, you're not typing it in the chat bar. Click the little chat bubble next to the chat bar to make it so you're not typing it. Maybe that's the problem.
Yeah I told him that, I'm in his igloo trying to help hopefully he figures it out.

In the beginning, there was Eru. Eru made the 15 Arda, and the 2 most powerful, Melkor and Manwe, were leaders in song. One day, Eru wanted to create a song, so all of the Ainur began a song. Then, Melkor, started making his own song, forcing the others to join him in song.
Because of this, the perfect world Eru wished for grew with evil. Evil things roamed.
Eru, angry at Melkor, cursed him to become a creator of evil.
Melkor then roamed Arda, creating evil spiders, orcs, goblins, and other beings. adidas
Manwe created the Eagles, and the beings of the sky. Yavanna created the forest and nature, and the beings of the forest. Aule created caves and deep crevices within Arda, though Eru did not allow him to.
Aule, shamefully, grabbed a large hammer, and began to destroy his beings within the caves. However, Eru had mercy, and the Naugrim lived.
There were now the Eagles, the Elves, and the Dwarves...and the evil corruptions of them.
The Elves were called the Children of Eru. Manwe guided different elves to go to other lands, to live.
There were those that stayed, and those that went and dispersed.
Those that stayed were the Avari, elves whom refused the great journey. Those that went were Eldar, elves of the Great Journey. From the Avari were the Avamanyar, those whom did not go to Aman. From the Eldar were the Noldor, the fair elves, the Vanyar, the deep elves, and the Teleri, the singers. From the Teleri were the Falmari, the sea elves, those who went to Aman, the Sindar, the grey elves, those that remained in Beleriand, and the Nandor, the wood elves, those that left the march east of the Misty Mountains. From the Sindar and the Nandor were the Laiquendi, the green elves, those whom lived in Mirkwood. From the Laiquendi and the Sindar were the Umanyar, those who did not go to Aman, but not because they refused. From the Falmari and the Vanyar were Amanyar, those of Aman, who made it to Aman. From the Amanyar became the Calaquendi, the Light Elves, the High Elves, and those whom had seen the light of the two trees in Valinor. From the Umanyar and the Avamanyar, the Dark Elves, those whom had not seen the light of the two trees in Valinor.
Our story continues with the Noldor. The King of the Noldor, Finwe. Finwe married first Miriel, and had a son named Feanor. Later, due to her labors, Miriel died. Then, Finwe married Indis, and had Fingolfin, Finarfin, Findis, and Irime.
When Melkor came to Arda, in the beginning, he had claimed the entire land of Arda for his own. The others, however, refused. They outnumbered him, and sent him to the Halls of Mandos.
Around this time now, when Feanor was alive, Feanor forged the Silmarils, 3 shining gems with power from the Ainur.
Feanor had put his gems within a safe within his home with Finwe.
At this time also was Elwe, whom was the King of the Teleri, had been found. He married Melian, a Maiar, in the forest, and he renamed himself Thingol. Thingol lived long.
Now Melkor had kneeled to Manwe, and he was released into Beleriand. Melkor began to spread lies to the Noldor, evil lies. Then, one day, he left Beleriand, and he created Ungoliant, a great, ugly, master of spiders. Ungoliant was made with great power, and Ungoliant had a stomach like a black hole, and would never stop hungering.
Melkor promised Ungoliant the trees of the Noldor, and Ungoliant went with Melkor. Melkor, riding Ungoliant into the forest, unleashed Ungoliant. Ungoliant went to the trees, knocking them over like they were nothing, and eating the trees, horribly. Killing things in her path. The sky turned dark, and the Noldor feared.
Melkor, ran and took the Silmarils from the house, killing Finwe.
Later, when their rampage was done, Feanor had seen all that happened to the great land of the Noldor, and he cursed Melkor's name, calling him Morgoth Bauglir, for in this he destroyed the two trees of Valinor, destroying their light. Morgoth Bauglir means "Dark Enemy" or "Black Foe". Feanor was hot with anger.
Morgoth and Ungoliant, after fleeing from the land, were walking in the lands of the North. Ungoliant however, wanted the Silmarils to eat. Morgoth gave her some fake gems, and Ungoliant saw the ones in his right hand. The Silmarils burned to the touch, burning Morgoths hand greatly. Ungoliant tied him in a black web, and fought him to get the Silmarils, and eventually, gave up, leaving him to the web.
For many days, Morgoth screamed in pain and agony, for the Silmarils within his hand burned hot like firey coals. The sounds of his voice can still be heard there today.
Morgoth went to Angband, and forged himself an Iron Crown. This Iron Crown granted him power over Arda, and he was a king. The crown burned into his head, and it made him support for his anger and envy upon the Valar.
Manwe had sent an army then, to defeat Morgoth, but Morgoth defeated them. Tulkas died, whom had defeated him when he first came to Arda, and whom he hated.
This is Part One to the History of Arda.
