Boosters on Forums

Hey Guys, Pj here.
So, as you know, it's hard to level up. Takes tons of rep and exp to just go one level up, so it's no surprise we have a lot of ranks that are a little low level wise. My idea will give all those people a needed boost. It also takes a long time to stack gold. LIKE A LONG TIME. My idea will solve this too.
My Idea
"Boosts" are an item/add-on that can be purchased on the forums store. You purchase these boosts for a little bit of gold, then earn all it back and more, along with a heaping help of exp. Boosts up the ante by awarding double, triple, even quadruple the amount of exp or gold you'd earn normally. This will help users recover from poverty, and help them level.
Some boosts will boost rep or even give double the amount of a star rating, but those would be insanely over-priced. This is done because although it is unfair, it's balanced out by being hard to obtain, so not much problem there.
Boosts are temporary, so users wouldn't be totally "OP" in any way for a long time. Because boosts are so powerful, a certain one could be purchased once a month just like sacrifices. This will limit too much progress and keep users from cheating the system and hitting level 100 in a day or two.
Why we should have "Boosts"
-Boosts would help users level and gain coins
-Boosts would in a sense, help DSGHQ economy.
-Boosts provide a much needed helping hand to those striving for ranks or titles such as master.
Thanks for reading, guys. Like the idea? Dropping a like really helps. Questions? Your opinion? Make it heard below. I read every single thread.
Until next time...

For new users, they might just have a random name.
Meaning? I don't see your point.
Let's say their username is blahblahpeng1. They might just wear the beta hat, and other stuff.

Great ideas, but some of them seem a bit overpowered. Swicheroo needs to balanced. So does the sacrifice replenish thing. There's a reason why we have to wait long intervals to get our next sacrifice. Cheating the game could result in some bad stuff.
Other than that, I like the way you think, and keep it up!

"Questing" On Forums

Hey Guys, Pj Here.
Have you ever looked at your amount of gold and said "Damn I'm Poor"?
Well with my new idea, I solve all of your gold-needing problems. Here's my idea and how I think it will support the community, along with some facts on how it might help to support my idea.
The Idea
My idea is called "Questing" and it is available mainly on the forums. Since the forums is a "Medieval themed", I thought that would be a proper name for it. Questing is a small menu that can be found next to post discussion on the homepage. Everyday, the quest list will be filled with quests you can complete that day. Quests range from Making a post to earning a certain amount of likes or views that day. Each quest you complete earns you gold and exp. Simply select the quest you'd like to complete and start working towards it!
If you don't complete the quest by the end of the day, the amount of gold or exp that you would have received is instead deducted from your account. This might seem a little brutal but it seems like a fair punishment, and I really can't come up with anything else. Completing certain quests might award you a badge or bonus. Some might even refresh your sacrifice cooldown, making it capable to preform a sacrifice without waiting a full month.
If you finish all quests on your quest board that day, you'll receive a quest bonus such as extra gold or exp.
Why this is a good idea, and how it will benefit the community
-Users will be occupied on the forums. No longer will you be bored, as now you can complete quests and stay active, all while getting awarded for it.
-Questing will give a steady gold income and help new users level up easier. I've been on the forums for a year and I'm barley level 5. Questing will help stop this and get users high up in the levels. The gold income will pick up many users from poverty, and now users can enjoy the add-ons from the shop without having to pay for gold or grind long for it.
-Some quests will help boosts a user's reputation and get them more well known on the forums
-Users can get more enjoyment out of the community.
-The forums really needs a new feature like this to keep users active.
That's all for today. Did you like my idea? Dropping a like really helps. Do you agree or disagree with my idea? Be sure to leave your opinion in the section below, I love reading them. Until next time...

I agree with you to a certain extent. If these people are going to commit and really try for the ranks, don't interfere and try to stop them. Sure they might threaten themselves if they don't get it, but that's their problem and it might encourage them even more to get the rank. We NEED more ranks around here and here you are, discouraging those who want to try for one. He could use some active dets, mods, and knights, so going against these people isn't very good right now. These people are trying hard because they want to SUPPORT the community. They do all this to get a shot at a rank.
Think twice before you post, and look at all sides of your topic beforehand.

To be honest, I think you should have only one job. Mods shouldnt be able to be detective. Knights shouldnt be able to be detectives. I think we need to leave slots open for more people, because i remember when like 1/2 the mods were dets and people couldnt become one because there were "too many"
You pretty much said what I said.

Well, it used to be 10 per post, then 5 per post, then 2 per post, and then it was removed altogether because people were making spam accounts + they were spamming posts on their main account to get loads of gold. Although this is a good idea, the major flaw in itself is that some people will almost always find a loophole/cheat the system to make it simpler or easier for themselves. Its a good idea, but I just don't think it could or should happen again.
It's called learning from mistakes. If we could find block these loopholes this wouldn't be a problem.

Hey Guys, Pj here.
Now, we all know gold is earned everytime you make a post as a member rank or higher. Pretty straight forward and simple, correct? Well, today I'd like to talk about bringing some justice to this matter.
We all post. Everyone here does it. It's fun to talk and conversate, and you get awared for it with coins, so the forum awards you for interacting with other users. That's great, but here's the snag. You're not given any coins for REPLIES to posts.
You might think, "I'd be rich in a week!". But here's my suggestion to balance that, plus why I think we should be getting coins for replies to posts.
Reasons To Take Act
-Posts provide a steady income for users. But to have to post just to receive some takes some serious grinding. Those who post multiple times in a row are given the nickname "Post Spammers" or "Grinders" for this and may receive some bad feedback. It's easy to post a conversation, but it's even easier to reply to one. This would cut back on Post Spammers and provide a better income for users.
-Most users reply more than actually posting, so their main source of gold income would come from that rather than posting.
-There is no other efficient way to earn gold other than posting. Other than gold comps, you must purchase to get more gold quicker. This would boost the DSGHQ economy and more users would be able to access the add-ons from the store. As of right now, most users cannot purchase add-ons because of gold income. This would increase income and all users would get to access add-ons without investing real money.
What the gold amount would be per reply
For this, I would suggest AT LEAST 5 gold per reply in post. This would be raised at anytime and users would receive 1 gold per like they earned on that reply. This is fairly reasonable and I don't see too much of a problem with this.
Any questions? Do you agree with my idea? Any faults you see with this idea? Please be sure to reply below. If this all goes through, you'll be receiving coins every time you post a reply. Thanks for reading, and I'll see you around

This is unfair and it needs to be told to Damen. But then again, Knights solely have one duty, and that's to protect. I do see the fact that you want to be a detective as well but lets not get to greedy here. You already have a rank that many strive to get. Now you're trying to snag another? People want to earn ranks on here too, you know. I understand moderators might get special treatment, but it's for a purpose. They are online 24/7 moderating OldCp and the forums. Knights however are (in my opinion) lower than moderators simply because of what they do in their job. Again, this is my opinion and I am entitled to it. I don't see too much of a problem of a knight being a det, but I just can't see both together. I think you'll have to make a decision.
Knight, Or Det?
