There once was a school with many children. There was exactly 599 children in it. Or they may have miscounted the children there. There was only one rejected child. This child had nothing to what a normal child should have. He didn't have a family, his home was a corner in Mrs. Sara's room, he had no siblings, and he was never acknowledged in class. He had tattered clothes and a carved smile which reached up to his ears. The weird thing was that he had no eyes. Not empty sockets, just skin covering where his eyes are suppose to be. It was valentines day at the school and all children gave each other candy and cute handmade cards. The loveliest girl in the class came over to the kid in the corner. Obviously disgusted, she gave him a gift. Candy hearts. The kid could not see her but he can feel her soft hand. "Thank youuuu...." He said quietly. She skipped away to her fellow classmates to gossip about how ugly the kid was. The very next day the kid gave the girl the same gift of candy hearts. "Uh.. thanks" she said taking the crumpled box. The kid smiled and crawled back to the corner. It was 30 years later when the kid took his revenge. For 30 years he stalked his crush to her house. The kid never aged was the weird thing. He found out how she was disgusted about his face. She said it looked like a rotten apple crushed into mush. He smiled whenever he heard her say that. Because it was the perfect time to.... "steal her heart" He crawled into her bedroom with a sliced open her body. He held up her heart and her eyes. "These will do!" he laughed. He stuck her eyes to where his was supposed to be and he ran. He ran back into the corner of the room and sat...

On that very day my parents decided to move, I found it all stupid to move. Moving means new life, new friends, new school, and all that other crap. "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll find a way to get over it." My father said. No. I don't need new friends. I don't need a new school. All I want to do is to confine myself. Drown myself in solitude. I stomped upstairs and plopped myself on the bed. I stared at the ceiling. "Why does moving matter so much to you?" I asked myself. "You have no social life here." I got up and stared at the ugly suitcase across my room. It was covered in sparkles. Ugly yellow sparkles. I didn't care if it was decent looking or not. It reminded me of moving.

"Don't worry Emily. You'll like it here." My mother assured me. We drove for hours trying to find our new home. But then we finally made it. The house looked 200 billion years old. At the first time I can barely even see the house because of the overgrown vines and trees surrounding it. We carried our bags into the creaky porch. "It looks ancient." I said looking around. Both of my parents ignored my opinion. "Well, its getting dark. We better be going to sleep. Your room is upstairs to the right." My father pointed to the right. I changed into my pajamas and jumped in bed.

I had trouble sleeping of course. I felt like something was watching me. I tiptoed to my window and saw a tall pale figure dressed in a suit and tie. Something squirmed behind his back like.... tentacles... I climbed out the window (The door was locked!) and went closer. He had no face at all but I could understand him. "Come closer child. I am your friend. No one understands you but I." He spoke. My legs shook and I felt glued. Tentacles stretched out from behind his back and a crowd of children surrounded him. Blood leaked from their mouths as they smiled. "GET AWAY FROM ME!" I screamed to the top of my lungs. The tentacles grabbed me and darkness took over me.

I woke up in a strait-jacket in a white room. Containing only a bed and a wide window. Something inside of me made me giggle. I laughed and realized.
