I see you are aiming for imperial knight? Well my friend, you aren't quite ready to make an application just yet. First of all, I suggest that you earn member first. Member is the rank after rookie. It shows that you are fairly trusted in this HQ so far, and you understand most of the basics. Earning member will not only increase your chances in earning knight, but it will also give you some more background information on this lovely community. The requirements for member are 30 rep and 50 posts. Here is your current amount.

As you can see you do not meet the member requirements just yet, but don't worry! I'm positive that you will earn it one day with a lot of effort, and determination.

An application is a very important part of the process. It proves whether or not you are personally ready for the rank, and if you can handle it. It must be written with maturity, and humility. It also requires a lot of detail, and effort. Every little bit counts. Here are four subjects that you should include in an application.

Include all four of these with detailed writing, and maybe you have a chance. Just be sure you have the experience before it is written.

You also need some more experience in this HQ before making an application like this. I suggest getting more involved in game, and helping the staff out. You could also ask for training from an imperial knight. If they agree, you have a higher chance at knighthood.


Remember, knight is a serious rank. You must be mature, trustworthy, skillful, courageous, patient, and humble, in order to achieve this rank. There are a lot more aspects you must have as well, but these six are particularly important. Make sure you want to earn imperial knight for the right reasons as well. If you want this rank for "fame" and "glory", then I suggest you wait a bit. An imperial knight defends the realm, and protects Oldcp. It requires a lot more then one might think.

I suggest downloading an add blocker. You're bound to find something that blocks adds by typing in "add blocker" on google. I have an add blocker, and it works like pure magic! Good luck finding one to choose.

I fully understand your reasoning in this post, up to a point. You mentioned a tough friend situation, and normal users simply underestimating you. Well, I'd say it's about time you prove them all wrong. I believe that one day you will become an imperial knight, I just feel that this wasn't the right way to do it. You were an incredible news reporter, and you knew how to get the job done. In my opinion, if users were telling me that I was a better news reporter, it wouldn't put me down. It would just make me strive a little farther. Personally, being in your situation would only want me to try harder, because in the end normal users don't have as much of a say as the Imperial knights and the staff. Just remember that I will always be your friend, and I respect everything you do. Through thick, and thin.

If there is one thing I've learned about life, it's that we should never give up. No matter what obstacle comes in your way. Dear, this is one friend we are talking about. I understand you care about her a lot, but maybe you should simply take a break from her for a while, and let things cool down between you two. Sometimes in order to keep going, you have to take a break along the way. Don't let one dramatic issue stand in your way of achieving your dreams. Because, no one ever said life was going to be easy. We must walk down the harsh paths of life in order to succeed. One situation can not be your downfall, it's time to get up, brush the dirt off your skirt, and move on. Believe me, situations like these don't last forever. And, you'll still have your true friends and family by your side to help you through it all.

I think we all can agree that you were one of the best news reporters the DSGHQ has ever had. I honestly think you didn't have to resign, because of how many users you made happy! Yes, that's right happy! You brightened user's day with your gorgeous news reports, and I feel that they shouldn't have underestimated you so quickly. You can do anything that you set your mind to. For example, you may be good at sports, but that doesn't mean you could be a great artist one day. I understand it's hard not to take what their saying seriously, and that you want to just let the world know, you can do it. But, I feel that you could have balanced this situation out in a more subtle way. But, no matter what I respect your opinion. You will be deeply missed.

In conclusion, whatever happens I will be right by your side. I have faith that you will become a great knight one day. Just remember to be gracious, patient, humble, courageous, and kind. I feel those are crucial aspects a knight, and a normal person. Prove everyone who ever doubted you that they are wrong. And most of all, stay STRONG.

Long time no see. If Allie did ever leave, you wouldn't be alone, because I would be there for you. No one ever deserves to be ignored, or alone.

First of all, you don't necessarily need a gun or weapon. You simply yearn for one. Second of all, asking for a gun or a sword will most likely decrease your chances in earning one. These weapons are given to highly trusted users. They do not have them just to admire, and test out. These users use weapons for the protection of the DSGHQ. If Damen were to provide random users with weapons, it would probably be very chaotic. Who knows what they would do with it.


If you are aiming for knight, I suggest asking a fellow imperial knight to train you. You should also earn member, because it is required. When you earn the proper experience, and reach all of the requirements of an imperial knight, you can take your next step. When you feel ready, make an imperial knight application.



* If you are an imperial knight, you only receive one weapon. That weapon being a sword. Unless you are a warlord, then you receiev a sword an a firearm/gun.

I agree. Some knights are just don't do their job, and rarely come on. It is quite confusing in a way, because if they wanted the rank so badly why didn't they take the time to get the job done? They could be very busy of course, but if you are then maybe you should wait before applying for a rank. I understand there are also imperial knights like Orbay, Sammeh, and Milkshake, who are very active, and they do their job perfectly. Thank you to any knight who actually does their job. I also agree that imperial knights should have required hours as well. Moderators do, so why not imperial knights?

I believe it has been explained perfectly in the earlier comments. Overall, what you are experiencing is just a glitch. No worries! Simply have patience, and wait for Damen to fix it. Hopefully it will not happen again.

Chex, you should not be thanking us, we should be thanking you. You have been a great friend, Moderator, and team leader in your time in the DSGHQ. I'm sure most of us appreciate what you have done. You have achieved so much, and made many memories along the way. You are probably the most bubbly person I have ever met, and hopefully you'll visit this HQ from time to time. I wish you the best of luck in your journey in the real world. You will never be forgotten.

I joined the DSGHQ in mid April of 2014. Since then I have earnt various ranks, and gained trust in the process. In about 3 - 4 months, I became a loyal Moderator of the DSGHQ. As a Moderator I learned a lot more then I did before. As a Moderator I knew how to be strict at times, but I also knew how to have a great time without being immature in the process. I have never abused my powers, and I can handle almost any situation that a user brings to my plate. As a Moderator, I also had to multitask. It's very important to see if a user has an inappropriate name, if someone is breaking the rules, spamming, etc...... I know what must be done, and I Moderated with grace, and responsibility. Despite the fact that I have resigned, I have never gotten demoted for any wrong doing. In fact, I have never really gotten into trouble in this HQ at all. So, as you can see I am very trustworthy.

Another rank that I have achieved is forums Master I feel that the rank of Master is also very important. It is the rank directly under Moderator, so you must set a good example to users with a lesser rank. That goes for Moderator as well. I achieved Master a month or so after I achieved Moderator. I understand how this community works and what it takes to be a Moderator, and Imperial knight. I believe I have what it takes, and I would not abuse my powers. In general, I never have or will take any of my ranks for granted. I never bragged about one of my ranks, or abused my powers in the slightest. I stayed the way I did, because of this wonderful community I love being apart of!

My current ranks are Master, and banker. Even though I'm not a Moderator, I still find ways to help out all around Oldcp/forums. I report misbehaving users (with proof), I inform the staff if someone accidentally double posted, I inform the forum moderators if a rookie needs to be promoted, etc.... Which I think proves, that just because you don't have a rank like Moderator, or Imperial knight, doesn't mean you can't help out.

I also would like to include this portion of my vast experience especially, because it involves owning a weapon. I have indeed had experience with a firearm. I understand that it's not the same as a sword/fire sword, but the real point I am trying to make is, I once was trusted with a weapon. I know how it feels to have one, and I know that I should not abuse it. I never accidentally killed anyone with it, rather I used it responsibly and only when I need to. I managed to kill one bandit in prison with a single bullet.

Some more recent experience is that, I have just completed my imperial knight training with Orbay. In each session we focused on a certain subject, and at the end he would quiz me to see how well I understood. I got A+ and above on all of my Quiz grades, and on my imperial knight unit test, I got a 110%. (extra credit points) I also got 100%'s on the other two portions of my test. I am very skilled at acting quick in tough situations, and I have excellent computer/typing skills. Which would come in handy manipulating a sword. Sir Orbay, and many others have told me they see potential in me. If I were an imperial knight, I would be willing to put myself before others. I would vow to defend Oldcp from harm, and stop misbehaving users. I feel I can keep Oldcp under control like I once did with Moderator. I am very good socially, and I know how to get the job done. If I earn this rank I would to keep the DSGHQ, a more pleasant place to be. I would also do my very best, and always remain humble and loyal. I understand knight is a great responsibility, and I feel that I can handle it perfectly fine.

I want to earn Imperial Knight for various reasons. One of them being, I want to help out such an amazing community again. I enjoyed being a Moderator so much because I got to put an end to misbehaving users each day, keep Oldcp safe, and make a lot of new friends in the process. I was able to put an end to problems, and communicate with people. I've learned a lot in the DSGHQ, and I have never seen a community with such unique features, and how everyone just bonds together. If I were to become an imperial knight on Oldcp, I would not only do my best to make the users feel at peace and protected, but I would put their problems, and of course lives before my own. Most of all I feel that I deserve this rank because, I care. About this community and the people in it.

Certainly not! This community is very important to me. I would never want to harm this HQ, or the people in it. You can trust me 100% when I say this, I promise to never abuse my powers. I want to be an imperial knight to protect this community, not to put it in danger.

I will do everything in my power to defend the Empire, even if I am put in a life or death situation. It would be an honor to fight for the Empire, and I would do anything to keep it safe from enemies. I vow to protect the Empire from misbehaving users as well. Imperial knights play a huge role when it comes to defending the empire.

Ever since I have returned to the DSGHQ, I have been an active, happy, user. I am extremely active and I am online almost every day while I do my best to keep Oldcp/forums safe! I am also very mature for my age. I am not someone who is always stern, rather I know how to enforce the rules while having a good time online.

This sounds quite fun! I will do my best to attend, I am very excited.
