Hello, and welcome to my new show series called plz band me! Wondering why I came up with this name? Well a while ago a new user on Oldcp was telling a Moderator to "band" him. So his words inspired me to create this show because it reminds me of when I used to call ban, band. Enjoy

Hello. Today, I would like to apply for the position of Mediator on Oldcp. I have been thinking about applying for something and I believe Mediator is a good position for me. I hope you enjoy reading my application for Mediator.

What is the job of a Mediator?
A Mediator is like a Penguin Watch and can only kick and warn users. Mediator's get blue name colour and are there to help users remember to follow the rules.

Why do you want to be a Mediator?
I would like to be a Mediator because I think it is important for all users to follow the rules regardless of who they are. I think Mediator is a good position for me because sometimes I am on Oldcp and I see users being disrespectful and swearing, but no Moderator notices them without being told it happened. It isn't the Moderator's fault if they don't see it right away because there are so many users on and the speech bubble gets covered. But I think if I was a Mediator, I could notice the user who was being rude right away and I could deal with them as soon as they break a rule.

I would also like to apply for Mediator because I know when you are supposed to warn and kick and I could make the lives of the Moderator's easier. If someone swore, I would automatically kick them because a major rule of Oldcp is you shouldn't swear, especially since there are lots of younger users playing now. If a user was being rude, they would receive their three warnings first, then get kicked, but it depends on what they said mostly to chose their punishment. I feel that this ranks suits me best because when I was a Moderator on the DSGHQ XAT, I wasn't always comfortable banning users, but Mediator's can only warn and kick, which I am really comfortable using.

How do you use the commands for Mediator?
The only two commands are kicking and warning.
Kicking: /kick (username) (reason)
Warning: /warn (username) (reason)

What is your experience?
I think I have a decent amount of experience for Mediator.
I was given the chance to Beta test Snaildom and I was given the job of Snaildom Librarian and Detective's Apprentice on it. I know that isn't much but I was trusted with these jobs and I believe I am trustworthy enough for Mediator. I was also a DSGHQ XAT Moderator and a War Knight on Oldcp, so I have had ranks before that had to use commands. That is all my experience I have had and I believe by getting the chance to be Mediator, I could gain even more!

Activity
I know that I have not been very active lately because I was sick, but I am recovering and catching up on work at school, so I have more free time which I can use on Oldcp. Oldcp is a very fun game and I want to keep it that way. When people break rules, they mess it up for other users trying to have fun and when I am online, I want to make sure that doesn't happen. On weekdays, I can be online for a minimum of 2 hours everyday, and on weekends, even longer.

Oh cool, I just started Middle School today and it wasn't all that bad. I think you don't need any advice just stay be yourself and everything will be fine. I think aside the facts that you now have lockers and theirs more people and the schools bigger, it's not that much different. In my school, we have something called 'core' where you have one main teacher who teaches you math, language, and social studies. And in the different periods my class that's in core goes to the same places that i do, so if we have science, the same class I have comes to science too.

I'm not sure if youre middle school would have a different system but mine is like how i just explained.

Oh I understand why you would leave. Hopefully you wont leave because tahir and lots more users would miss you a lot. I showed him this post and he got sad.

I agree with this post also. Not all users annoy ranked members to revive them. Crimezone is for fun isn't it? Only the ranked users get to see the action.

Also what if a new user to oldcp comes on and spawns at plaza. The ranked people there would just say please leave and sometimes they don't even tell why. They just use sendto. How would that new user feel? Probably feel like the people on oldcp are selfish.

I know that some users are scared so they should stay away from the plaza, but some users want to see the bomb go off because users always have to go and get crammed in the throne room for "safety".

They should at least let people watch. And maybe if people don't want their account to die but still want to watch can go on a different backup account .

My point is as everyone else said, normal users should get a chance to be involved and have fun to. Some users are even scared of mods thinking they might get banned for staying somewhere not allowed w/out knowing the reason why they aren't allowed during crimezone. like me before when there was a crimezone event.

Hello DSGHQ. Welcome to my post on how to become rich. With these simple but painful steps you might be able to become rich! So lets get on with it...

Step 1: Find a formal restaurant with fragile things, huge full course meals, and formal people inside. Basically a restaurant with food for lots of money. You'll see why soon. Once you find one continue on.



Step 2: Make sure there are waiters or huge tables... something to bump into....

Step 3: Now that you have made sure these things are there you can proceed with ease.
Pretend to walk normally and then smash into a waiter but act like they bumped into you. (poor waiter but whatever.. ITS TO BE RICH RIGHT?!?!) This will cause some severe pain depending on what or where you land. Then it will cause lots of drama and screaming. The waiter will probs apologize considering you can sue them. You have to act angry and act like you will sue the restaurant and the boss will come and try to convince you not to sue them. You can try to get money from them and say you wont sue them, or just do it for the big bucks. Once you act smart and win the case you will become rich from the sue
