I disagree with you on some parts. Yes, opinions are allowed however there is rules. So you can't just say people should be allowed to share opinions, it can cause drama or rudeness. Opinions are mostly what I see getting dislikes. If someone doesn't want a dislike, did anyone say they had to post the post they did to get the dislike(s)? Dislikes are here to express that you disagree with someone. Lowering rep is not a big concern. But if someone spam dislikes, they will be punished.

Disliking is not the way to express your hate for someone. You're supposed to use the dislike button only when it's needed. Someone makes a dramatic post about the staff, that is something that would get dislikes because people DISAGREE, not hate someone.

If you know someone hates you and they just dislike your posts, you report it so the user doing it stops.
