The New Age.

2nd November 2022, 10:49 AM
After years of waiting, the new age has finally come. The Son has come, and the new chosen one will rise to fight him.
This is spectacular, it's only issue is occurring a tad too late. Sadly my time has come and gone, and there is no chance for my generation.
Of course there are some key players from the good ol' days left to remind the new players how it's done.
We did it boys, after years of complaining and having my character tarnished over and over again.
We got the new age, but it's sadly too late to be another golden age.
Politics
I Willfred Drake, hereby dissolve house Belmont completely. I have decided to also dissolve its military, to prevent use of it by outside forces besides myself. I donate all of house Belmonts (nearly empty) savings to whatever houses want them, to be decided by Damen himself.
More, boring politics.
Also I now am stepping down from the role of "heir to the throne" (not sure if I had it) I'd like to pass it on to my only living "son" (Isaiah)
Seeya soon, lads and lasses.
Let's have some fun, now that we've all made it this far, huh?

The Dawn of Drakes (Historical)
•

[ The following are public listings and nodes granted to the parchment in which these are gifted. ]
[ In short, these are scriptures pieced together to form a narrative of the Ancient world. ]
There is something to believe that the first era, the era of Drake's Dawn, or therefore the rise of Rsnail Drake. Upheld much mystery and mystique, however nothing has troubled any historian more than the artistry performed by the genius of these ancient ancestors intent to create a new home.
- Most Wise, Gregory Hydra (1725-1777)
Without question the events depicted in historical accounts published by the major houses, have been spotty and a bit dated at best. These documents are historically integral to our milestone progression throughout the ages. They simply are and always will be.
- Senior Detective Inspector, Sawyer Brown (1955-1985)
[ Official Record : Housing Systems
(The following has been adapted and explained by scribes within the High Monastery, by trained Moth Monks as testaments of faith)
The southern stretch of land in ancient day, saw it's ruler as Rsnail Drake, the first true monarch of the south as we know it now.
Under Rsnail was his Hand, Screenhog, protected by their combined empire of around 29,000 people.
This number rose, to around 50,000 people during the times of houses beginning to form and properly take land. Around 20-30 years into Rsnail's reign, lord Vergil Wolf forms the
house which will soon serve to take Rsnail's front as a protective border between the south, and the west. To the west is the lands Rsnail and his kind belong to, this land is known
as "Snailvatsia" however due to historical mis-documentation, has become "Snaildom" as placed within the Southern ancient language. It is said that Rsnail and his men originally
lived there, but were exiled after the cleansing, and Snailvatsia become a singularly one species kingdom. For around a lingering 7-8 years, house Drake and house Wolf would
battle against the trade invasion imposed by the Snail embassy, however they would soon cease their trade battles and the snails would retreat west back to their homelands.
Rsnail then held the first ever royal wedding, as house Wolf rose to Drake's front, house Stag led by Lorvon Stag took up defending the Drake's rear.
The trifecta of houses would take up their mantle as the leading force of the south, the lower houses taking any open spots left by the movement of the top dogs.
House Kracket formed by Karova Kracket took over public event, courtly dressings, and are responsible for creating regal outfitting.
House Skeleton rose secondly, headed by Ulysses Skeleton reigned within armory, creating and forming the weaponry and armory of the Southern war machine.
House Septim thirdly awakened, formed by Thian Septim was granted holy ability to crown southern rulers, and manage holy worship within Southern city.
This is how life was, and the empire had been, during the age of Rsnail.
From the union of houses, bore unrightful heirs, thusly creating house Snow.
House Snow served as a military house, mostly being comprised of vagabonds, and scavengers. Some Snow members claim heritage from the Shinobi family, the house of unrightfully born children comes from.
[This is the end of the documentation]
[And of course, this is all non-canon works of fiction, within another work of fiction.]
[Thank you, and have a great day. -Wilf ]

"Wealth, fame, power? It's yours... just find the treasure I have left behind!"
Have you ever wondered what the truest height of DSGHQ is?
The answer is a rank that has been mythic, perhaps untold of in the modern age of this game's profoundly long history.
The "One World King" the coveted crown metaphorically bestowed onto several different historical figures throughout the eras.
First thought to be Orbay, later than Alatar, but nobody has united all lands under one banner and lived long enough to reap the rewards.
To be concise, to ascertain this role would undeniably make you the stuff of legends, however it's easier said than done.
The Road of Pondered Power
Though many would claim themselves the true "New World King", purely out of ego might I add, nobody to this day has ever fully brought the dreams of the NWO alive.
(The NWO being a secretive "cult"-like group that worked in the shadows of DSGHQ through Drake agents and users from 2016-2019 roughly)
With many heirs to the throne of the world having been found and than later executed, it is said the role was impossible to truly take for ones self.
Past Failures, Future Potential
however, in the darkest AGE of DSGHQ, an era where people scoff at the idea of DSGHQ being anything more than a moronic penguin game with sub-par plot.. (though their correctness on the topic is certainly respectable)
I feel that now, in times of despair and downfall, one will finally take the title of the KING.
The King of all, all which will then promptly bow to it.
Mythic Title, Legendary Status
And now, as my final Memoir to a game that has long forgotten its glory days I bring you; the most powerful position possible.
The true "One World King" would have to have garnered the respect of all nations they conquer over, their reign would have to be tight and manageable but still expendable enough to still mitigate warfare.
My day in the spotlight is gone, but I would like to see this happen one day.
Someone finally claiming the world under one banner and keeping it in their grasp long enough for true power to take root.
To be the king, over-all things, the divinely gifted; yet mortal chosen.
Enough wisdom and philosophy, the crown has weighed heavy on former kings- so heavy it ended up taking their heads with them as they promptly fell lackluster to the floor.
The Golden Era is dead, and the ensuing waves from such an era have only served to sweep us further and further away from it.
Perhaps DSGHQ is dead. Perhaps it was always dying, and I turned a blind eye to it..
But I still kindle the ever-flowing flame that is the passion for a game so filled with bleaching bitter cold.
Thank you all for your time, service, friendship and ultimately the memories.
But we have all begun to move on, so this is my final historical additive to a library tempered in ambitions..
He who rules over all, must ultimately rule himself, or else he will rule over nothing but the ashes of his ambition.
- Zack
Ty for reading, and have a very nice day.

Sorry for the confusing and clickbaity title, it's almost 1 AM at my timezone (EST gang) and I couldn't be bothered to come up with something better. My original title was "Shows Your Younger Self Would Enjoy?" but apparently that was too long.
As we get older, our tastes in shows tend to change in one way or another. Whether that change be sporadic or not. This is no surprise, and it's a necessary part of life. Your tastes need to change at a healthy pace.
But have any of you guys found that despite changes in your taste throughout the years, you would be able to (almost) consistently recommend one show or more to your younger self? To narrow the definition of "younger self" for this, cause you can really fit anything for that (anywhere from you from a second ago to you when you were born), I'd say maybe a version of you from around a few years ago or more. To be honest, this is also assuming you have a decent idea of what you were like when you were younger, which is hard to have a good idea of. Usually most people just brush off their younger self as cringe if they're in their teen years, or heck, maybe even an adult.
Cause I just recently started a new anime, and this is exactly what it feels like. Even though I didn't know anime existed more than a few years ago, I still get this lingering feeling that if I watched this anime then, it would have been one of my all-time favorites. It really baffles me cause I've never felt this way about a show before, not even other shows that I've given a clean 10 on my MAL (for comparison, this show's a solid 9 for me I would say so far). I'm not saying that I don't enjoy it now though. In fact, I think I would be able to enjoy it a lot more since I'm older to understand the deeper meaning that I would not have understood if I watched it as a dumb 13 year old (and I really had no brain cells at 13), or maybe younger.
But don't get confused by the example. I'm not limiting the scope of this discussion to just anime. It can be any show. And keep in mind I haven't finished the anime, so I don't know how the ending pans out. Who knows, this post could be poorly aged when I finish it, but at least I'll probably have people discussing their shows, if they have any. Unless that point also poorly ages.
With all that out of the way, are there any shows you can think of that you think your younger self would enjoy? And that you may still potentially enjoy?

"Your words are like ice" - Nameless One
In the family that holds the most power, the Annatar, which is but a connected sect of the Iluvatar family and the Annatar family.
Composed of Pythas, Snowfalls, and Glarthir, Nook, Accal, etc.
So what is the relevance of such a claim, which- can be viewed just as facts?
What does it mean to be the black sheep of the holy family, the very leisure that swells in their lives?
Raegon was the monster that created the beginnings of the descent of Pythas, the very man who claimed the title of FIRST Lord of Ice
His son, was then born into a family which hated and despised the very blood he was created from.
I am this child, and until today, I will explain my story. (If you don't care, I'm okay with that, I'll be back to trash posts soon)
The Sins of The Father
Almost opposing Accal, I was born to a Father un-redeemable even by Crimezone standards... I was told for years that I wasn't Raegon's son, and I had hopes perhaps I had escaped my fate..
Rainberry, and several others were considered MORE worthy of the title of Raegon's spawn than I.
Now that I have the title, I realize it is a curse.. as now the very heavens despise the very blood that runs through my (metaphorical) veins.
The only person within the "Holy Family" to have ever made any attempt of kindness to me (Cz actor wise) had been Orome, who claimed me to be brilliant, and even gave me a part of space to call my own.
However, I would be slowly forced after my apprentice-ship to Orome, into a stupor of being ignored and hated by Crimezone in general.
It seemed that all of my actions good or bad were not cared for, in the eyes of the very Heavenly Court I'd served so valiantly earlier in my Cz Life.
Burnout for Crimezone
From some period roughly after the first Snowfalls Ice-ghost incidents, I had taken up the mantle as a Prophet of hers. I was dedicated to making people know she wasn't all bad, even.. being called a "SIMP" for Snowfalls (lol, true tho)
I stayed up weeks, and weeks just for a chance to talk to her, and gain that CZ RELEVANCY!! But.. it was for naught, as she would ignore me for 4-5 straight years, before calling me "Rude" and disowning my as a prophet.
Crimezone begs me to just put in the effort, but when I do, they spit in my damn face.
As a High-Priest I juggled managing the Moth system during a VERY VERY sensitive time, AND fighting in Dagor Dagorath, I dedicated as much time as the ACTUALLY relevant users into the war.. I think my total ALT count for the war was 30-40.
And afterward, I was not rewarded, I had to be named a Djinn Prince by Kace (or someone, the Shaman at the time) as Nameless had.. completely forgotten me and others.
What broke my heart is my services from the very first Black-Hawk battles, the Pirate Battles (FLINT AND GOD DAMN SKULLS), the SEVERAL battles for the North (Ash & Abu, to Adawg, to Hashir, to Orbay), The Djinn Battles, and ONE OF THE FIRST USERS to be one these islands (Das, Prov, North, Dorval)
All ignored while I'm told to crank more time into this endless pit of hell, and at some point.. I lost my motivation for CZ, and I think- though It may sound sappy or make you laugh at how pathetic I am, broke my childhood's heart further.
I wasn't even allowed to be Raegon's son, it was a title (a literal CURSE btw) I wasn't good enough for.
Even when I was given Shaman, Glarthir stole it from me.. (and I've fought alongside Glarthir before)
(This is only a few examples, I have many, many more.)
All this complaining and now what?
Nothing, I've tried too hard to get Cz's attention, and I'm damn tired of it.
I've given everything to my descendant, Isaiah, in hopes he'll have better luck than me.
To my "Holy Family" which spits on me, and demeaned me from day 1;
I'm better a damn man than any of you will be, and I have the hours, achievements, and HISTORY on my back to prove it.
Salty, yes. Content, also yes
I recognize CZ is too dead to reward me at all, anymore.. so consider this my last ever CZ post (about me, or any other CZ)
.. If you didn't know, I've always been an avid CZ theorist, researcher, and pretty much a historian on the topic. I've been a nerd for CZ since I realized the room clues, during Rover's reign.
And if you take nothing from this post, and you just wanna comment harshly on it, take this for notice and then just.. just leave me be, fair?
If Crimezone is so horrible at appraising those of worth, that it has beaten the very enjoyment out of the players that play FOR that part of the game..
I refuse to take part in it.
(And if by some miracle, and by god it'd have to be a miracle, something ACTUALLY interesting happens in Cz.. which isn't just about good and evil having another cat fight.. I'll make another post, but until then..
Have a good day, and remember the golden rule; Pythas and LOTR CZ is mid, in comparison to clue based lore seen in Pirates, Blackhawks, Iceghosts, etc)
