In FA 116, Ulmo would appear to Turgon, where he would advise that he find a new place to reside, as Melkor's gaze would begin to grow on Vinyamar from his fortress of Angband. This would cause Turgon to leave the city with 1/3 of the Noldor population and venture into the Valley of Tumladen, to the finished city of Gondolin, which was constructed in secret.
Ulmo appears to Turgon
When Beleriand was sunken by Nameless One, the city was also flooded. Eventually it would be drained in the fourth year of the Fourth Age to combat Ancalagon.
Fengurad, whose origins come from Aman, traveled to Beleriand after it was drained. There, he claimed the Kingdom of Vinyamar with the purpose to combat against Ancalagon. You can join the Kingdom of Vinyamar by slaying a dragon in Ered Gorgoroth and talking to Fengurad in the Vinyamar Castle. He gives out rewards such as gold and strength for each slain dragon.
