I had this idea of adding Groups to the forums. What groups would do is allow users to create almost a mini-forum for their group of people or organization. Groups can be created by anyone, and then the owner can then invite users to join the group. In groups, people can post discussions, pictures, videos, and discuss the group topic, essentially allowing a private mini-forum for users apart of an organization or club.
To access groups, users would click on the "groups" button, located on the navigation bar. From here, users can see their groups as well as see the list of groups.
Groups can have different settings set by the group owner. Some groups may be open to anyone and anyone can join, other groups may be invitation only, and others may let the owner approve of members before they can join.
Groups would be very helpful to members who wish to discuss something but keep it organized and send out announcements to the members of the group.
For example, lets say I was running a CPPS. I needed staff for my cpps, and I needed to privately discuss the cpps with the staff of the cpps. I could create a group and then invite the staff of the cpps. From here, I can post discussions in the group regarding updates and announcements, and have my staff reply to them. I could also post things such as staff regulations and guidelines.
Hopefully I explained it well enough.

"Everyone has heard that a million monkeys typing on a million typewriters would eventually reproduce the entire works of Shakespeare. Thanks to the internet, we now know that this is not true."
