I thought, if something couldn't be settled, we should have a court room. If the suspect leaves the court room WITHOUT permission, then they get a straight away ban. If they stay, then it's only a chance of a ban. Moderators will be the lawyers, and an admin will be the judge! It can have jury duty, so on the forums if you get mail saying you must attend court to be part of the jury, you have to go, or you will be banned. I have made an SWF by myself c:

Mail will go to the suspect, Moderators, Admin and witness. If the suspect does not show, automatic ban. If the witness, Moderator, or Admin don't show, then just a reasonable punishment. c:
Please consider this.

Nice suggestion. This will be very hard for the admins to make though. Also, what if there are no mods online? Or the defendant or victim is not online? Or if there is no admin online? It is going to be very hard to get an admin, moderator, the defendant and the victim all online at the same time.

Send mail to their forum account to come online on a certain date. If the suspect does not, then it will be an automatic ban. The Admin or Moderator would get a reasonable punishment. (Not demotion)

They are the suspect. Court is the OldCP law. They have to show.

But what if they can not.

If mods are not online...That's why you have a judge to evaluate the situation and make a decision based on supporting evidence.
All this sounds like it would be cool....But in a court system, the suspect is publicly framed, and sentenced. I believe this would ONLY cause major problems in the community.
This is why Moderators have private discussions with the suspect and makes a decision IN PRIVATE.
I still like the creativity of the concept!

Great idea but the Administrators as a judge may not work. We only have 3 admins and with probably several cases maybe there could be one Moderator that decides he/she wants to be a judge or wants to be a layer he/she could. And also if the suspect does not show maybe it doesn't have to be an automatic ban, maybe it could be re-scheduled for another time and if the suspect refuses to come online maybe a punishment of the suspect's credits getting reset. And depending upon how bad the user has been if he/she has been guilty it could be as little as a kick, and as bad as an ipban. So I mostly agree with you on this, great job!
