Hello everyone. Amanda here with a DEBATE!Now, here's the debate.
Well, in my opinion, I think it SHOULDN'T. I see people swear all the time. Here are the swear words allowed: Damn, ass, and hell. I know we don't use them offensively, but we shouldn't use them at ALL. There are kids here as young as 8 years old! And if we swear in front of their faces, that's a bad influence. OldCP shouldn't allow swear words because the little kids' parents out there would be upset if they found their child swearing. I would be upset, too. Think of the kids! Now, you older kids are probably going to dislike this because you swear all the time. Well, just because you're older doesn't mean you should set a bad influence on people.
In my opinion, OldCP swearing should NOT be allowed.

Allowing swearing into the site would not set a good example to the younger users (8-12 year olds), and it would start way more fights and drama, which we don't need. It definitely would not be a good idea to let everyone swear whenever they want. It just doesn't look professional.

I think their should be no swearing. 1. Swearing is negative and stupid. 2. Children Play this game. 3. For the people that swear, I would like them to know to shut up. 4. The Internet is not a free cuss world. 5. If you want to cuss, don't do it on here.

Damn, ass, and hell aren't necessarily swear words. They are not nice words, it's just that they aren't that bad to be considered swears and not allowed on OldCP. People don't say damn that much, ass means donkey but there's another meaning that isn't bad but a bit, ehhh. Hell is a place. Anyways if you mean swears in general then they shouldn't be allowed, OldCP is not really a CPPS like others, because we don't allow swearing and if we did, what about the children here? It's a bad influence for the 8-12 year olds here and I like the way it is. So swearing shouldn't be allowed as it is.
