Hello!
Some of you may know that I was hoping to become President of Oldcp if presidency were to return. However in yesterdays trial Damen revealed that it wouldn't be brought back after many problems it had.
But in this post I will discuss the ideas I would've had for proposals as I believe they would be great aspects to the game.
Idea #1
The training rooms on Oldcp are great I must say, but it doesn't give you a realistic fighting experience does it? This is why I think the DSGHQ military mini-games should be accessible for players but through booths where they can enter to play the games. The players would receive gold depending on their gold and there would also be a leader board inside the mini game. Whether the player is on the sword, firearm or rapidfire gamemode, they should be given a wide variety of weapons to choose from so they can get a more realistic experience if they select the weapons their penguin actually owns. This new feature would also benefit inexperienced players who have perhaps never had a chance to know what it feels like using these weapons in action.
Idea #2
As a moderator on Oldcp, I will confess it can be a challenge to focus on every message in the room especially when you're the only mod online with a large number of users. To make moderating more efficient, any foul language that hasn't been censored already should appear in red text as this would immediately catch the attention of moderators say if they are dealing with other users at the time. Although this problem could be dealt with by censoring as many bad words the staff can think of, this feature would actually make new users to the game more responsible and aware of the rules so they know the rules far better. Another idea that links into this issue is to have an in-game message to warn users whenever they say inappropriate things and will give them a link to the Oldcp rules page. This would be very useful for when no other users are online to tell these players about the rules of the game. Adding on to this, the Oldcp bot from the town originally should be added back but instead this time giving information about the game if a player was to ask it a question.

Lots of us enjoy the Game of Mods competition very much but it only happens every 3 months. Crimezone seems to be the only weekly event that thoroughly excites members of the community to come online for a specific reason which is why more events should be added to Oldcp both weekly and monthly. I'm talking about igloo contests, find four competitions, football/soccer matches and many more events to be introduced and be organised by game hosts. The weekly/monthly winners should have their own framed picture of themselves in the Jr that this event happened in, similar to how the Player of the Month was once framed at Thrones. During this time when lots of old users are returning, the staff should begin planning larger events such as WCI and ARP which would engage more users to come online.

Transforms used to be far more exciting in the earlier days of the game but these days you don't hear many users saying they're saving for transforms do you?? Transforms need to be a lot more cheaper than they are right now because new users aren't going to be particularly pleased when they find out it costs 20,000 gold to throw a starfish. Also if you haven't heard already there has been lots of talks about the Imperial Bank going poor so a tax is probably going to be added into the game. I'm not sure if it already does but the Imperial Bank should receive the gold from transform purchases otherwise that's large numbers of gold all going to waste.
Anyway, thank you for reading about the ideas I had in mind for Oldcp and I hope the Admins consider them since presidency won't be returning.

About the minigames, maybe gold could be a prize or a rank for ex: Game Winner Of The Week (GWOTW) just a suggestion. But to help moderating, we should have a auto message system that blocks any message with a swear word. and gives them a warning or ban depending on the word. Although red text is a good idea. Hopefully your suggestions will be added to the game to make oldcp better.

These ideas are really good. Idea number 3 reminds me of when a user cursed or said something inappropriate a notice would appear in the top left hand corner and it showed the whole message and the part that was considered inappropriate. I really enjoyed this tool and it helped a lot. Please bring this back.

I'll take a look at the transforms cause that doesn't sound good to me
And the censor thing is not possible because if something inappropriate shows up it's because the censor couldn't catch it
