Shocked by his insult, I screamed and ran to go search for my friend Dayton, who had been helping me lock the doors earlier. I searched the area and with no luck finding him, I left.

hi!!!! today im going to tell u 5 interesting facts about me because its part of fgom (and i dont like reading without pictures so i included those too!). to start off my name is sugar, and i have a sister whos 2 years older than me who also is a member of the community (cristal). a lot of you already know that but its surprising how many people didnt. anyways lets start

1. i'm bengali!!
Cristal and I are actually the only Bengali people in the community! I remember in 2018 or 2019 a user named Sarker joined OldCP who was also Bengali, and she didn't know English very well so the mods had to have Cristal and I speak to her. it was a really cool because I'm fluent in Bengali and I never got to help a user who spoke it too before Sarker joined. It was nice being able to talk to and help someone else on here that spoke another language without needing to use google translate

2. I recently got stuck in Bangladesh:(
So basically I was born in Canada so I have a Canadian passport since I'm a citizen but my mom doesn't. And around January we had to go to Bangladesh (it was my second time going) because of an emergency, and my moms passport was about to expire. You can't book round trips or trips in general if your passport is about to expire UNLESS you're going to a country that you have a passport in (I THINK BUT IDK). I'm not sure if that makes sense but it's sort of like if I lived in Mexico but had a Canadian passport, I would be able to go back to Canada even if my passport was expiring. Or at least I THINK that's what happened. Anyways so my mom just booked one way tickets for all of us including herself and she was able to do that because her passport is the bd one instead of the Canadian one. So sis thought she finessed the system but it was all fun and games till we couldn't get tickets back cause her passport was taking too long to renew and we ended up being stuck there for a month. I missed two weeks of school and one exam cause of it. ALSO, it was just me and my parents and Rhea (Cristal) was still in Canada. It was a traumatic experience

3. When I got there, I saw a goat!!!
We went to visit my grandpas grave and its in like,, a village I guess and so we went there and when I was there I saw a goat. My friend really likes goats and she asked to see it so I tried to take a snap with it. You'd think taking a snap with a baby goat would be simple, but this tiny ass goat had the audacity to start eating my hair.

4. My friends and I once put our friend in a plastic bag
This is kind of misleading but my media arts teacher asked us to take out the recycling and my friends and I had an empty bag and so one of my friends was wondering if she could fit inside of it. So she got inside and then another one of my friends dragged her around and we never got caught! It was strange but i think thats one of my favorite memories because everyone seemed really happy


5. My friend tried to be slick and take his dads car, but..
SO!! I've only ever skipped class 3 times in my life. I didn't have anything to do and my friends thought it would be a smart idea to skip class and drive around in my friends (lets call him Fishie) car. He lives fairly close to the school so he told us he'd run home at lunch and take his dads second car and return it before he came home. FOR SOME STUPID REASON we thought this was a good idea. My friend also doesn't have his license. Anyways Fishie ran home at lunch and brought his dads car to the school and he made it back to school right at the end of lunch, which was before third period. So we skipped FOURTH* (edit mb) period and he illegally (don't try this at home plz i am not suggesting any of you hop in a car and try to drive without a license) drove us around for that whole 1 hour and 20 minutes. Everything was going good until he was backing up and accidentally hit another womans car in our schools parking lot, and she was a teacher. She made him call his parents and I can assume you know what happened from here.
It was a fun experience though and I'm definitely not going to forget this either because it was my first time driving with a friend since none of my frineds drive yet. they made me sit in the back though because iM sHoRt but here is a video:

heres an extra fact!!! this guy i know from school has 7 mutual followers with skippy, 1 mutual follower with hashir, and 1 mutual with tent. this was really interesting to me because it reminded me that the world is pretty small !!

As Harrison said, people do have to "adjust", that's just a way of life, however, I don't technically believe the number of people online should alter how to handle situations. Staff should be aware of their commands and how to use them, amongst this, staff should also be fully aware of the new approach method constructed by Damen... regardless of how you feel about it.
Listen, I'll be the first to say moderating OldCP can be cumbersome. Back when I first became Moderator on OldCP I had to look for guidance, I looked towards experienced staff. Staff like Sunwolf, Journey, Tornado, etc - really helped me become a "good Moderator" by my own definition. However, I feel like the OldCP of today doesn't have many "OG Staff", or people who have been on the staff team and OldCP through it all. I personally have experienced a lot of OldCP since 2013 and so forth. I am ALWAYS willing to communicate with anyone, so if any of you have a genuine question or simply don't understand how to handle a particular situation PLEASE message me on Discord or the DSGHQ Forum too. I'd love to assist you!
I do also believe that the staff shouldn't just look forward to the administration giving them the resources they desire. The OldCP administration isn't always available, and I have personally seen them busy (not just talking about the current administration). Sometimes the staff runs to the administration with 1,000 different questions, but in all reality, I feel like people MUST self-educate. Educate yourself on OldCP, ask former staff how it was like being staff, ask for tips and suggestions to better improve your role on OldCP. Yes, I know, it can be difficult to reach out but it is also super vital in being a successful attribution to the staff team, STAND OUT!
With all of that said, I do believe that the current staff team can easily be seen as a "hit or miss" kind of establishment. That's fine, this has happened an abundance of times before. I really do believe that the staff should be evaluated thoroughly. Not just on activity either. Huge roles such as communication, helpfulness, awareness, and so forth are HUGE attributes that make an awesome Moderator. Just because you're clocking in 40+ hours doesn't technically mean you're a good fit for staff. I believe it is time for the staff to work with the administration and so forth. OldCP has recently become quite popular, and now more than ever before is the time where the staff is vital again!

it aint even about adjusting at this point or the amount of users in the room because they arent moderating a room with 20 people either. plus, if they arent ready to handle a room with many users why are they mod ?? i reported myself two times to a mod (sounds silly but anyways) and they still didnt do anything!!! i know how to feels to have the whole staff team hated on for 'no reason' but this is the first time ive witnessed the staff team at a point where they need to be complained about. i think the mods need a lot of training too, like cpbiter and lloyd.

some of the people that were against pla were fully killing innocents last night like skippy died at least 3 times. and also the lightening is out of control like the entire ROOM got hit and for what reason

the document is only being shared because admins have said its OKAY for us to keep the posts up but forums mods like LLOYD and scott etc wont keep it up. so the post was made into a document, which is being shared. dayton wasnt meant to be attacked in any way but the truth had to be spread somehow.
however, im really sorry about your friend and we in no way would ever intentionally want to hurt dayton like that - but we think its wrong he lied like you said. if it makes you uncomfortable ill stop sharing the document.

edit: the google doc did not reveal any personal information either. all of it was censored and boundaries were respected, but it exposed courtney/daytons actions because something had to be done about it. this behaviour isnt okay. i understand how making a doc might have been 'extreme' to you but in this community ive seen a lot worse and this in my opinion was handled rightly because it didnt break any community rules and no irl information was leaked.

this was def a problem when i was det sgt but luckily it stopped for a while. its really like,,, shocking that these things are added to make a character more interesting bc thats not what assault is and it doesnt make someones life more interesting like i can litearlly promise that lol and not even j that but experiencing that irl and then coming online and seeing its being used as a part of cz is nuts
