I didn't really understand that, I thought someone reset the frame to the thrones so the throne accidentally was back, so I hid it for the trial because Jdutr was like "you can't use this frame, the throne is there." And I knew they were going to talk to Jdutr to get the throne back. So in my mind I said: well the throne isn't suppose to be there (so I hid it for the trial with curtains).
also the throne got stolen again and before I died I edited in the throne. LMao

Hey, I'm just going to drop this while the topic is still hot. These are my thoughts on the situation that just happened. I had made these thoughts on Discord and thought that they'd be nice to share with everyone. I hope you enjoy. I don't hate anyone involved in this situation. I see ways that both of them did things without bad intent/misunderstandings or were treated poorly.


My perspective on it is that I feel bad for Sled because she was confused and helped out a CZ actor, it was a complete misunderstanding. They make CZ private and then they have the public interact with these actors, so of course they're going to get confused since they don't know the entire storyline.


With Chelsey, I can see her side of this as well. She had stated that she had no control in the CZ allegedly so the best that we can do is give her the benefit of the doubt unless future evidence states otherwise. It just seems like Chelsey was given a position and then a suggestion of martial law by Raindrop to which she had put into play after Sled, Damen and Loki were exiled. I see why she did this since the empire will always be in need of protection, it just seems the reasoning for the exile was poor.


I also understand why Sled wanted to remain in the room and why the DRAKE killed her. Sled was just stating that the reasoning for being exiled was wrong, and I agree. It may have not been the best way to go about with it which is why I also see why the DRAKE had killed her. At the end of the day the agent was just doing their job.


In all, it just seems like if they never involved Sled in the CZ and Damen was more understanding with why people do the things they do then this whole thing could have been easily avoided. This also goes into the reasoning why there needs to be better communication. If everyone was also on the same page, I think that this could have went a lot smoother as well. I feel that Sled could have went around this a little better, she has communication with Damen so I feel that they could have talked it over on iMessage or something. But then again, sources also say that Sled has been treated poorly for awhile now so maybe being exiled was the last nail in the coffin.

sled mistakenly helped someone she shouldn't have because she thought it was cz. she, damen, and loki were exiled to send out a strong message to everyone to be more careful and not fall for things like this. idk if this is leaking but i don't see why people wouldn't have the right to know

Thanks for sharing that. Yeah, it honestly just seemed like a misunderstanding. Sled's not crazily into Crime Zone so they honestly can't just lock people out of it and then have these actors interact with these people because then they're obviously going to be confused. I'm not mad at you, nor Sled, I just think this was handled a bit poorly. It was a misunderstanding that lead to a murder - it should not have gone that deep.

If it was something small, then I don't think being exiled would have been necessary. These ideas are really good. Idea number 3 reminds me of when a user cursed or said something inappropriate a notice would appear in the top left hand corner and it showed the whole message and the part that was considered inappropriate. I really enjoyed this tool and it helped a lot. Please bring this back.

I agree, the Crime Zone can be hard to catch up with upon leaving OldCP and we do have a surplus of Moderators on the game currently. For the concern of not seeing Moderators on at times, that could be because of the fact that some of our staff do have different time zones other than EST. Although most of the staff are EST, so it's a bit disappointing if they're not on during those key hours. When it comes to being a staff member on a Discord server, there are many tools available at hand for these people. Like Chelsey mentioned, they can see every single message posted by a specific person or look for specific words/phrases. These servers also have bots that help with moderating as well and an automated system will always be better than a person if it is programed well. For OldCP staff, the only tool we have is the OldCP Cinema which tends to not work most of the time and if it does the staff need to look through minutes of dialogue. There's a lot of staff because we all work together to collect all of the pieces of the issue and put them all together. So in all, we have to go by the cinema (if it works) or word of mouth from users.

so true... I feel like there's others out there who would do so much more for oldcp as administrators than some of the current admins. I get that some can be busy with life but if theyre so busy that can they only come online for 5 minutes a month then they shouldn't even be admin in the first place. Not saying all admins arent good but some need to be taken care of. Im sure there's way better people for admin. *cough cough*
