Maybe writing Loki twice wasn't the best approach, but imma have to call out something here. Alatar using a copypasta, one which is used to actually mock the person who said it in the first place, doesn't make him a sexist.

Get a grip on yourselves. Acting like he declared war on the female gender, when he posted 1 sentence that doesn't even make sense.

Like seriously, how are you so offended by the phrase "all girls do is eat hot chip and lie"?

God, it's pathetic that I even have to explain this

Posted in South - NWO Peace Treaty • 10th December 2020, 10:28 AM

Hello everyone,
I am delighted to announce a peace treaty that has recently been signed between Emperor Regent Damen and the NWO, a treaty that will bring wonders for both of our prosperous nations.

The treaty is as follows:

- The South and all South allies cannot declare war on the 3 NWO-led islands.
- The NWO cannot declare war on the South or Southern-allied islands.
- The NWO will be able to form their own governments and appoint their own rulers, who will be promoted by in-game administrators.
- The NWO will periodically send shipments of Kyber Crystals to Southern representatives, and the South will, in return, provide periodic shipments of guns and other weapons to the NWO.
- Both sides will employ diplomats, who will be tasked with easing de-escalating tensions should they happen.
- In the event that a member side from either side breaks this treaty, said person will be handed over to the opposing side so they can be properly punished.
- In the event of repeated offenses from a particular side, a council will be held to determine whether these offenses were intentional or not, which may or may not result in punishing said side.

This treaty has been signed by the Emperor Regent Damen and NWO Representative Orbay on December 10th, 2020.

Peace be with us all.

You can't compare the situation in OldCP to LOTR, for several reasons:
- While each ring in LOTR gives a Nazgul more or less the same strength, the power of each ring can be VASTLY different in OldCP. Not all rings were created equal, especially when you compare rings like Indur and Malekai.
- Even the strongest Nazgul Ring isn't powerful enough to take on a buffed "good" person, who can be easily re-buffed in a week's time, so it'd make more sense for 1 person to stack up multiple rings in order to stand a chance against 1 "good" person, which even that is mostly impossible, because you can't find a fight where there aren't at least 6 "good" people, a good 2-3 of those being OP.

And, perhaps the biggest difference between LOTR and OldCP:

- In LOTR, Nazgul rings aren't miracilously nerfed to the point where they're basically useless on their own, when the "good side" starts complaining about how they can't 1 hit kill evil people now.

Terms
1) If an individual from one side attacks an island ruled by the opposing side, that side must give up that person to the opposing side, so they can be punished.

2) A trading system could be established where the Empire will supply the now peaceful NWO Islands with weapons, in exchange for Kyber crystals and other natural resources from Providence and Das.

3) Both sides must write an updated series of laws for their islands. In the event that one side breaks these laws, the opposing side is allowed to jail and punish the individual in question. If they sail back to an island of the opposing side, rule 1 must be enacted and said person must be handed back.

4) Warriors may not enact their own sense of justice on an island not owned by their side.

5) Draconians will be allowed to appoint Kings and Queens for their islands, form proper armies, and gain weapons through legal methods (any method that isn't via hacking)

This should be a good start. It'll at least stop certain people from sailing to Das and Prov and killing as they please.

Very well written post.

I especially agree that needless cz deaths also exist, namely when evil cz characters show up to talk. They're almost always killed by certain users, and that ends the cz for that day early.

I find it hypocritical that some people who accuse evil of killing innocents, proceed to kill unarmed evil cz accounts. Their reasoning? "They're evil". Like, that's just not how it works mate.
Quote:
2 days later: We cant arrest or kill this user because they have a ring. Also they killed 3 more people and spawned bots in the South. They're also really OP so we outta luck lets nuke them LOL
Admins: Pls kill me

I also want to address the good guy version of this. Certain people have been sailing to Das, and killing evil dudes left and right, even when they haven't done anything. We're expected to abide by Southern laws, but the same people who tell us that go to Das and disregard our rules entirely. Just because we don't have Das or Prov arrest commands, doesn't mean you can just do whatever you want.

Posted in Addressing myths about the Rings • 24th October 2020, 09:57 AM

Hello,
Today, I will be addressing some claims that I keep hearing about the rings, and debunking a good bit of them. Let's get started:

1) "Each ring gives an insane amount of HP and damage bonus"
The health amount varies per ring, but no single ring gives you God-like health, and certain rings aren't even close to the 200 DB threshold.

2) "Each ring gives OP abilities"
Untrue. Only a few of the rings provide abilities, and more of these are just convenient rather than OP.

Ring of Indur - Allows you to escape jail
Ring of Mandos - Gives Doom Scythe (which does the same damage as an Elven Saber, so it's pretty tame in terms of cz weapons)
Ring of Gothmog - Allows you to spawn Goblin Supremes (the only OP ability among the rings, but it's justified compared to the bots people like Kace has)
Ring of Adamant - Lets you talk through people, but it says who you are at the end, so it's a cool party trick at best.
Ring of Raegon - Gives you Ice Ghost glow.

Note: The Ring of Mandos been forged into the Ring of Sealock, which is able to revive people, but seeing as the ring is owned by a cz character, it's going to be used scarcely, if at all.

The rest of the rings provide no added benefits whatsoever, other than minor health buffs.

3. "The Rings are too OP, they should be nerfed"
Each ring possesses a portion of the power that the One Ring has. It should be common sense that someone who wields multiple of these rings (say, 6) would be pretty powerful.

Trying to get the rings weakened just shows how some people are used to winning every fight they get in without any hardships whatsoever.

Not only that, right. There's a misconception that every ring is as OP as each other, when some of the rings provide barely any buffs whatsoever.

And, on the contrary, some of these weak rings should actually be buffed a bit.

So, yeah.
