Obviously, Damen won't have the time to check all the channels so I have an idea to solve that. Moderators should be able to check the channels and approve them. By that I mean check all the swf files to make sure there is no inappropriate content. Unless you can only access that by mod panel (to approve swfs), then moderators should have their own section at the bottom called 'Managing swfs'. This is where the moderator types their username and password and they approve channels by that. Unless that is too much work for mods, there should be 'Channel managers' who obviously do what it says in their name. That's what I think.

It's quite complicated the inspection, you need to know what hosts are safe and ones that aren't, and wheather the file is a SWF or a backdoor to a web page. These things, no offence but, allot of moderators don't understand at all.

I see, but there aren't that many sources that provide swfs. Also, if a specific host(s) are unsafe, why not just block them? Or you could make like a detector to see if this host is good or not. Wouldn't that make it a lot easier, or is that physically impossible?

Could it be possible to pick trusted users that understand these things, and aren't moderators? It's just a thought, Hashir made a great point on having other users enabled to viewing this data for other users. I believe only very trusted users should get this ability if they know what this is.

I think mods on old cp should be the ones like you said and also this is such a great idea cause there's a lot of weird stuff happening.

If something goes wrong then you'll be too dense to know what to do so i think this idea is bad
