Isildur

Early Life

Isildur was born in Numenor during the Second Age to Elendil, a descendant to a king of Numenor. He also had a brother named Anárion.

Numenor

When Isildur was young, Numenor started to become corrupted as its kings had fallen under the sway of Pythas. Pythas instructed one of these kings to cut down the tree of Nimloth, a tree that had been given to the Numenorians as a gift from the Undying Lands. Isildur heard of the plan to cut down the tree and stole a fruit from it before the tree could be destroyed. Isildur was caught in the act and was horribly wounded but still managed to get away with the fruit. It would take much time, but Isildur would eventually recover from his wounds.

Leaving Numenor

Isildur would finally leave Numenor just before it was sunken by the wrath of the ainur. He managed to escape the land, along with six ships filled with other people who had remained loyal to the Nameless One and the ainur. Once in the new lands, Isildur helped his father and brother establish the kingdoms of Arnor and Gondor. Isildur chose to reside near to Gondor in Minas Ithil.

Stand Against Pythas

Isildur never forgot the destruction that Pythas had brought to Numenor and so he stood firmly against him and his servants. The Kingdom of Gondor would be long at war, fighting against the fell servants of Pythas.

Obtaining the Ring

Isildur took part in the war of the Last Alliance, during which he would use his father's broken blade 'Narsil' to cut the One Ring from the hand of Pythas. Once Pythas fell, Isildur took the ring as a prize for himself. He kept it with him always and found himself unable to part with it.

Death

Isildur was killed by orcs while attempting to flee from a battle. He had put the ring on his finger, making him invisible, he almost got away but the ring slipped off his finger. He was thus spotted by orcs, who shot him with arrows, killing him and causing him to fall backwards into a river. His body would never be found by his kinsman.

Ringwraith

After Isildur died, the orcs would bring his body before Pythas, who was greatly diminished in power due to the loss of the One Ring. As revenge, Pythas placed a nazgul ring on Isildur's finger, thus reviving him and enslaving him as a ringwraith.

Appearance

Isildur would first appear on OldCp in 2018 as a nazgul servant of Pythas. He wielded the very powerful weapon of Narsil. It was said his only weaknesses were water and arrows. It was also revealed that he had a son, Khal, who was a blind monk.
